I thought this was a pretty good conclusion to the series.
About the flag ship, they mentioned that it's full to the brim with magic to control everything, and that's why Touma can disintegrate parts of it with his hand.
The ice knights are obviously very primitive guards and only have simple homing spells for detecting enemies and no actual intelligence. Because of that, Index could divert their homing spell that easily, and it could happen that they run over each other while trying to track down their enemy.
Biagio was just as insane as I already imagined him to be. He gives the same talk-out-of-your-ass speeches you usually hear from religious fanatics
He's naturally also full of himself (would've been strange if he weren't) and thus takes Touma much sooner for defeated than he actually is, having a surprise when he reappears.
Then, we get to see one of Touma's patented Falcon punches. After that, it's Touma speech time again, and thus no time to check if Biagio is really out. Turns out he isn't, and activates the self-destruct
He eventually manages to deal with Biagio, after Orsola brought Agnese away, but doesn't get off the ship in time anymore. Luckily, he's picked up by the others.
In the hospital, Touma gets a call by Mikoto, who's not amused about him being away again. It'll be very interesting when they meet up next episode
After that, we see piercing addict girl trying to get Santa Clause to sign some paper which is written in an Italian that doesn't exactly have grave errors, but still is quite awkward
