What, there's talk about epic Engrish openings, and no one bothers to mention MELL once?
I'm very disappoint. That being said, after putting the Opening on loop for an hour, I can say that I'm liking it quite a bit, especially the bit when Elsie flies in

Just watched the 1st ep.
Keima feels a bit less confident in the anime. The pacing just feels different. First off, not much time was focused on Keima's lament of the real world. But yeah, great production. Great OP. But why is it so techy? @_@ Hahaha, I know Keima has his PFP, but the show focuses on the real! Last edited by BlueDo; 2010-10-12 at 09:30. |

Or you can find a way to convert the youtube video into an mp3 for more portable listening. I'll leave that to others or you to figure that out. That said, I liked the OP and the visuals and would love to have a full version of it sooner rather than later. |

oreimo finally get a sub forum but kaminomi didn't.... fukou da.
I finally get the op rip off from youtube and listen to again and again. as for the closest translation I can find in the release for the op. Probably for me is chihiro's release though I kept hearing in the end as anyone would be a hero or heroine instead of their release which is "anyone would be at here or get here or leave me. aside from that I'm loving their release and for me their translation on the op is the closest to it.

What? The Imouto show gets a subforum, and this doesn't?
Then again, we only have one episode out, so I understand. .......still. Listening to it again, I don't think I've ever noticed an OP so easily segmented; the green circuit board startup lasts 30 seconds, Elsie and the girls last 30 seconds, and finally Keima's pimp stroll lasts 30 seconds. |

isn't the few seconds of cute Elsee and the harem kingdom showing up makes up for the 30+ seconds of green circuits.
Keima is just trolling around akihabara but even if this is only 1 episode sounds unfair for me. The kaminomi like oreimo had a light novel too. Though oreimo comes originally from the novel and kaminomi from the manga. I also want to know about the novel of kaminomi but their isn't sub thread for this to minimize the going in and out of different threads.

LOL@ complaints about OreImo getting a subforum when TWGOK is "more worthy". Let me spell it out. Neither series is "worthy" at this point. All the other series with subforums either have or had larger fanbases and more discussion, and several of them (if not most) still will long after OreImo and TWGOK are only memories. The reason why OreImo gets a subforum is simple. K-on! is finally dead, and OreImo is being groomed to be the consensus mindless moe replacement. A quick survey of the anime blogosphere makes that quite evident. And TWGOK isn't moe enough (more specifically not focused on moe enough), and is nowhere near mindless enough to take that dubious crown (OreImo really isn't mindless enough either, but it's easier to look at mindlessly without annoying distractions like a complex plot getting in the way). The AS mods just see the writing on the wall and are clearing out the necessary space ahead of the zombie horde.
Besides, do we really need a buttload of unnecessary TWGOK threads? As of this writing, of the 16(!) threads in the OreImo subforum, only two have more than a page of posts, and those are the Manga/Light Novel thread and the General Discussion thread (formerly the Upcoming Series thread), both of which have been around for a while. The only real discussion as pertains to TWGOK has been in the manga thread, and has largely been overall plot discussion, which gets repetitive no matter how you configure the forum, and a weekly smattering of spoiler/current chapter discussion. The anime discussion hasn't been worthy of a week-by-week breakdown, and unless there are some changes to the storyline, chances are that it won't be. Frankly, it's better this way anyway. This way you don't get some anal poster (it's almost never a mod) complaining that you're posting "in the wrong thread", and discussion more naturally flows from one topic to another.
