First, tossing up the Point of No Return finale cinematic... just because.
Reminds me of the outcome of the Battle at Kar Dathra's Gate - a pivotal event occurring early in the storyline of Gossett's Red Star (which has a fun PS2 game treatment - think Final Fight meets Contra - and a pen-and-paper RPG campaign sourcebook). Now, with that opener out of the way... A certain Guns 'N Roses song seems very appropriate for this new content. Which probably has its share of nods to among other things the introduction of a certain species of spacefaring hunters to movie audiences.

Too unprofessional for my tastes; there's no need to make a spectacle of it. Also, if you're going to do that, you have to be equally public in fessing up and eating crow if you get it wrong (i.e. false positive). Mark Jacobs, I think, had the right idea back in Warhammer: Age of Reckoning - the server-wide 'in-character' ban message (reference). An example:
"Tchar’zanek has ordered the slaughter of SpammerNameHere and all others of his kind who weaken the Raven Host by providing wealth and power to the unworthy."

Now, on to the matter of elite specialties. First announced being a blast from the past in the form of the chronomancer (ref 1; ref 2). "Great Scott...!"

What they tend to do poorly though is exploit banning, since they just ban everyone who profited from said exploit regardless if the person knew what they were doing is an exploit or not...but those are generally mass bans, and Anet doesn't make a spectacle out of them. A lot of times Anet unbans them as well.

Anet are having a joke with HOT, besides the prices being abit on the high side there is no extra character slot for the basic add-on!
And the fact that new players buying HoT standard, get the core game as well. I'm not keen on paying £60 for just that 1 extra chracter slot, yea it's "slot" not "slots".

Well, the base game was regularly going @ $10 at this point; at this point this is the game. Though a lack of a discount for existing users is different. I am simply going to delay on buying it.
Plus, they did a number on the necros. Whoever's developing them needs to be fired.

So been hammering at this since HoT was out and really enjoying the game again.
Plenty of new content to get stuck into and some of it is really quite good. Hoping to get my Rev up to speed before Friday when I go on my hols for a month. Like want I have played of Rev so far, nice class.
