As many people have said before, AIZEN hax was definitely not appreciated. The arrancar were utterly meaningless in the end, and our little emo friend ulqy seemed to be the strongest arrancar even though apparently 1-3 were stronger...

Too many characters, not enough character development or poor development...

Sloppy story writing...

The list goes on...

Rankings? you mean Espada rankings? How does that make the rankings inaccurate?
Ummm all I know is Ulquoirra (Or how ever you spell his name) Was the only espada out of the top three who was able the have a second resurrection (I think but am pretty postive....) Also Aizen knew that Ully had the second ressurection....

I forget whether or not it was said if Aizen knew about the second release...
But it hardly changes matters... with just the first release Ulq was able to fairly easily best vizard bankai ichigo. Stark and Halibel should have been able to do the same... you don't got a mask, then you shouldn't have a prayer against them

Indeed. I'm convinced Kubo retconned the whole "I'm actually the fourth strongest" (which I think was actually a good twist) in order to actually make Ulquiorra the strongest and thus cater to the fans. That's not a good thing.

I think it's obvious why retconning a good plot twist isnt a good thing.

Why should it be great? Ulquiorra isn't even a good character. He's just the same shit we've seen before. The typical emotionless idiot who can't understand the emotion behind the main protagonists determination and tries to make him lose hope (they always fail) until he's finally defeated and understands why. Catering to the fans at the expense of your own story is never a good thing.

Oh an opinion on the character. A lot of people like Ulquirra, but I guess some don't probably because he is imo . So yea it isn't a bad thing for everyone

While I am a fan of Ulquiorra, I don't think that his high showing in the character polls (10th with 3751 votes) should have given him such a power boost in comparison to the other Espada. I liked it when he, previously having seemed to be the strongest, actually turned out to be a weakling in comparison to some of his comrades, giving a scale to how awesome the top 3 were. I think that's what Kubo tried and failed to recreate with Yammy's 10->0 thingy.

He is popular compared to all the Esapda. The most favorable ones being Ulquirra and Grimmjow. I was just saying that because Ulquirra never showed Aizen his second release the rankings would be inaccurate

I really don't see how, remember Aizen did know about ully's second release even though he never showed Aizen

Strangely enough, Grimmjow did not get nearly as much love. He died offscreen, or is lying somewhere in Hueco Mundo bleeding or whatever. We're ages ahead and his fate is still uncertain. He's almost turning into the Suigetsu / Juugo of Bleach.
