I still think that Something's intermittently happening with your RR Service...

Just for grins, check your Modem's Signal Levels again, WHILE the problem is occurring... See if they have degraded from what they were when the problem wasn't happening... Specs are in my earlier posting (#11 in this thread).

Have you tried the BBR Line Quality Test, to check for excessive Packet Loss?

Go to: http://www.dslreports.com/tools and Register for a Member Account (Registration is FREE, and they WON'T Spam you), and then run the Line Quality Test to see if you have a Packet Loss issue...

Okay, thanks.

But this is bad. The problem dissappeared AGAIN, and the cable/tech guy is scheduled to come out tomarrow to repair it. Last time when the problem dissappeared, the guy said there's nothing wrong with it and there's nothing he could do, then the problem reappeared that night.

Might not get this repaired for a while...

Well the tech guy camer out and replaced my modem. Problem solved, I think.

The reason it wasn't working right is kinda embarrassing though... PM me if you really want to know.

Anyway, thanks for the help guys.

does it start with a p and end with an n?

the cable company had to do some rewiring outside of my apartment. apparently it was old and lots of people were having issues. didnt help i was in the last apartment far away.
