I avoided her because Cinque is part of Erio's Harem the Stahlritter.
And I never watched To Heart... I'm a mecha otaku first, mahou shoujo 2nd. I only watched harem flicks with these elements in it, and there're quite a sizeable number, especially when its mecha anime.
I clean forgot! And yes Hope has become the 6th Divine Hall, but its more of a reference to the true Seiou and a certain Cardcaptor...
Do you mind using that? I'm still working out how it works...
Kha's something like a modern day Jesus on weekends. No water-wine transmutation or Tracing bread, but he goes around to the "mass healing" sessions which unlike Terran variants combines spiritual and physical healing. And when he's not doing that, he's conducting Sunday Mass at Grand/Monarch Church. Sometimes, he goes on small walkabouts on Belka-aligned states and planets with his disciples, usually areas of the less fortunate, and together with other Church volunteers help make their lives better.
On the training front, Kha manages the JediCleric-knight Academy, and speaks at Foundation of Divine Arts and Anti-Dark Defence lectures that are attended by Belka pages who train at the church.
He is also the highest rank commander of the Church Trinities.
Kha's role isn't set in stone, because he's the only one there is. If there's a good reason to help out in any way, he'd throw himself fully at the task. Something that the CK Forwards are learning about.
MAJULAH! MAJULAH!
ANd UGUU~~?!
Re: Anime choices - got it. I'm more of a romance/comedy junkie (the ARIA series are my favorite anime), with action/adventure coming in second.
Re: Reality Marble - Of course Mel will use it! Anything connected to Hope earns instant approval. And take your time - Mel doesn't get her Reality Marble until close to the halfway point of the story - which won't be up until NEXT YEAR if my school schedule doesn't clear up soon. And re: the RM's sources... <points to Cardcaptor> why is it that SHE appears whenever we talk about hope?
Re: Kha - Gotcha. He's sort of a catch-all religious figure, giving sermons, healing the sick, and other duties.
Re: And UGUU~~!
Mochiron! It is the war cry of the White Wings Legion... OR HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THE LEGIONS OF THE EMPRESS!
Tk3997, I see your point, and I agree my emphasis on the living quarters may have been excessive (I get very irritated when I see soldiers/policemen having what I consider to be unnecessarily luxuries in-camp. Adequate comfort is one thing, taking it too far is another).
I would like to say though that what I said is to make them look more in line with military/law-enforcer's life. Besides the living quarters, you've also mentioned the lack of organisation, discipline and etc in RF6, which I also think should be reinforced. Right now imho RF6 looks more like a holiday training camp for kids and teenagers, and not combat unit. The only one that moderately look like her role would be Vita.

I also think you need to realize that RF6 is way closer to say, Delta Force, then an line infantry division so some allowance HAS to be made for their status as what amounts to Special Forces which often includes relaxed rules with regards to rank, somewhat loser discipline, and a certain disregard for the rules set out for “normal” troops
This paragraph is exactly what Guideline 1 is really about.
But I really hope you guys would do something about that big room (I know I will ).
I'm making some amends to my first post (here) with regards to the age part (stretching the range), including the additional point to Guideline 3 and some edits to Guideline 1.
Well, in what I call the V Spectrum, there are three Vs, two of which belonging to the same entity.
There's the first. The witty, eccentric cheery and sometimes sardonic V who Nanoha and company first meet up with. Amiable, he is often very sociable. In battle, he is willing to aid others, but more than often goes it alone. He can get serious in this "mode" without going nutso. This side of his also displays his talents- his expanded mental capacity in a wide range of subjects, literature and history being two prime examples. Simply put, this is the laid back V.
Then there's the second, and, so far, the form of the "good" V that has displayed itself the most- when he's in a state of fury. This rarely occurs at the beginning, yet, as the story progresses and he gets closer and closer to killing Scaglietti, he displays this side more and more often, causing concerns amongst others. In this state, he is driven by revenge and often devoid of any kind of compassion for a time, and will do anything and everything in his power, no matter what harm he receives, to harm and/or kill his foes. There is a state beyond this in which he activates his IS, but that remains to be seen.
Then there's the third. Dark V, as I call him, and what V would have been if he had joined Scaglietti and the Numbers. He retains quite a few traits from the "first" V, dominantly his partly witty nature. However, he is far less of a raging maniac, in contrast to the "second" V's form. The "second" V is also the good V. He is subservient to the Doctor, and treats his tasks set as something of a necessary job. Sharing another similarity with "good" V, he is vengeful, but in a different sense- vengeful against those who seek to harm his allies. He is a planning type, and considers himself to be a strategist- indeed, he lays out numerous plans for operations from time to time.
This is a brief explanation of all three Vs, the "first" and "second" of whom are in the same person, the "good" V. "Dark V" is different from the both of them.
Yup, that's how I pictured them. Good that everything is made clear in this post, though.

Well, in terms of my explanations, I try. And I just wonder how things would go down after that description if the paradox occurred in my work and both Vs met.
Come to think of it, "good" V, not enraged, and "dark" V would get along well were they on the same side...
And, if it concerns anyone, I do have a little roster, only an assumption at present, of the fate of each of the Letters. Numbers...well, have to let canon run its course first.
Does this thread swing a certain way I'm not told about ? ()
Only Reiji likes doing that... Aaron once told him it was...disturbing...but I guess he doesnt mind.

Time paradox!!
And about the Numbers, at least I can assure you Cinque, Sein, Dieci and Wendi will survive.
So how do I get my characters on the first page? And how do I update them from there?
I update that post somewhat regularly... I havent updated in a week, though. When I do, you will see your characters there.
What I do is make a link to your character's post. That's why, if you keep reposting your character over and over again, the link would become outdated, and I will have to repeatedly update the link.
I'm pretty sure those four of the Numbers will survive. They're just too well-liked, badass and good-natured to die. If anything, I will guarantee their survival.
Another thing: I ned to give the other Numbers upgrades. I'm a little stumped for what...maybe a second gauntlet for Nove...
Jeno: "Apparently, Urd has kept a record of some of my older fight scenes, back when I first became a Destroyer..."
"This was taken in one of the Non-Administrative worlds owned by the House of Harkonnen. An Alien force has besieged one of their smaller cities and has began infesting the very ground the people stand... Within an hour, the aliens slaughtered everything in the city."
"Apparently, the Harkonnens were playing host to a Class 2 (Going by TSAB standards) Logia without even knowing it. Unsure of what the Aliens intentions are, Loki sent the three of us down with the following missions..."
- Retrieve the 'package' before Harkonnen Forces arrive.
- Trim the number of hostiles in the area to make things easier for them.
Jeno: "Time to show off... The only thing limiting the awesomeness of the scene is the boss' incompetent English skills."
Spoiler for "The Power of...":
The night was cloudy, smoke and dust from the battle that was just being fought two hours ago had settled. The city fell into an eerie silence of darkness, not a sound could be heard, not a glow could be seen.
It's like the very soul of the place had died as well.
Jeno: "Well, this is quite the tourist attraction..."
Radio chatter could be heard in his Com-piece equiped on his ear, indicating a reply from someone in the vicinity.
-=[The folks are just shy... Give them time to warm up to us...]=-
Jeno: "It's not just that, traffic's a bitch, vehicles all over the place... Had to get to the library on foot..."
-=[What can I say? They're Harkonnens...]=-
Jeno: "Heh, yeah... So what's the news?"
-=[They've managed to identify the Alien force... Jeno, it's the Zerg.]=-
Jeno (Nearly tripped) : "Well that's a surprised... What could the Zerg want with a Logia? For that matter, what could they be doing all the way out here?"
-=[We're not even sure that it's about the Logia...]=-
Jeno () : "When has it NOT been about the Logias?"
-=[Point taken... What's your location?]=-
Ascending up the flight of stairs, Jeno reached the top floor of the Tower Library. He was quite surprised to find it bloodless. He had expected the same gruesome mess that the other levels had shown. With the exception of books lying around, the place was relatively unmolested.
Jeno: “I’m in position…”
-=[Whenever you're ready... But remember, they'll be coming out of the wood-works...]=-
Jeno sends a small surge of magic throughout the entire room, he did his best to try to maintain it's level so that the Zerg detectors won't pick it up easily.
The effects was immediate, the Jewel seed that they were looking for lights up like a Christmas tree.
Jeno: "Jackpot "
Jeno opens a Dimension-Lockbox to safely store the Logia. It's one of the special abilities that Destroyers comes along with, they can open a small doors into another dimension to store items.
Once done however, the ground below him started to tremble violently. At the same time, hellish screams that rang throughout the city, killing the ominous silence.
Jeno: "...Was it something I said?"
-=[Yeah, they banned gambling here remember?]=-
Jeno () : "This truely is hell..."
Looking through the large windows, Jeno could see a massive black swarm of Mutalisks and Scourges flooding the night skies. Below him, endless hordes of Zerglings and Hydralisks were popping out of the ground, causing a small scale earthquake.
Jeno: "Lance, you seeing this?"
-=[Yeah... And I have to say, it's gross to think that I was just walking over them with my new shoes...]=-
Jeno: "You're complaining about that? Wait till you try to get them out of your hair... "
Sighing, Jeno pulled out a chair, he swinged his legs onto the top of the table as he sat down.
-=[So now what?]=-
Jeno: "Now we wait. I've just walked from one end of the city to the other, cut me some slack...!'
"And besides, why do I have to be chosen for this mission? I work better fighting people one on one, not one on ALL!"
-=[Erm... Jeno?]=-
Jeno (sigh) : "Yeah, I know."
The giant eye staring through the window from behind him blinked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CRASHHHHH!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The enormous... 'Thingy' slammed a bus-sized claw into the room where Jeno was, with the laziest of effort, it rips off the entire floor and roof and toss them aside.
“Erm… We got a problem…” Said Jeno as he landed safely on a nearby skyscraper.
-=[No really? You don’t say…]=-
A similar explosion could be heard a few blocks away. Another one of those… ‘Thingies’ had torn apart a building. Looking hard enough, Jeno could see his silver-haired partner landing safely on the roof of a structure next to the monster.
Jeno: “Those aren’t Zergs…”
-=[Look closer.]=-
He did and saw what Lance meant.
Jeno: “Argh… Now I REALLY hope that doesn’t get in my hair…”
Hundreds, maybe even thousands of humanoid corpses were stitched together by the Zerg’s creep to form one massive 30-storey monster. Jeno speculated that the other devilish parts, like the huge claws and that creepy giant eye might have been created from breaking down the human component and reassembling them together.
-=[That would explain the lack of bodies lying around.]=-
Jeno opened another lockbox, but this time, he’s pulling something out of it instead. The shape and design of the Sheath and Sword seems to be a simplistic mix of a Katana and a long sword. The whole thing is covered in black.
“Game-style: Armageddon”
-=[Booted, suited, and ready to be executed.]=-
“All we need now is the party music…”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-=[I love his timing.]=-
To the west, a large explosion followed by several flashes of dark purple magic erupted. Soon after a new voice could be heard on their com.
-=[Somebody called for an exterminator?]=-
-=[Ah, so good for you to join us at last.]=-
"Do you have it?"
-=[You know I'm good for it...]=-
"Then why did it take you 30 minutes?"
-=[Classified]=-
-=[Cheeky Bastard]=-
-=[Deal with it, so what's the situa- BIG MAMA!!!! THOSE THINGS ARE UGLY !!!]=-
-=[Deal with it, there a swarm of Mutalisks coming in from the North as well...]=-
Just another day on the job.
Jeno: "Hey Cero..."
-=[What? And stop calling me that!]=-
'Big-Eyes' lifted it's claw high above it's head, with a grunt typical of any big ugly piece of crap, and the agility of a pregnant cow, it slams it's weapon onto the roof where Jeno was standing on...
...Or at least it tried to.
Executioner:*Ding*
Executioner:<Executioner Online>
It happened faster than what the monster could react. Jeno shot across from one roof to the other in a blink of an eye, a visible ripple could be seen through the air. Landing on the roof across where he was, one could then see that Executioner was drawn.
Blade of the sword was pure white. Jeno gave it a swing to flick off some...'Stuff', before twirling it in his hand and reuniting it with the sheath behind his back slowly.
Executioner:<Die>
Immediately after, the entire arm of the beast was sliced off cleanly. The massive appendage fell to ground below. The creature doesn't seem to be in pain though. Rather, it seems to be confuse and curious as to what had just happened.
Jeno: "...Bring the noise."
-=[Got it, time to get this party started!]=-
-=[Heaven or Hell...]=-
A field magic was casted over the entire city, suddenly a deep, powerful voice boomed throughout.
Jeno shot straight up into the sky, narrowly avoiding the barrage of Glaive Wurms from the Mutalisk swarm that had just arrived… Had he been a second slower he would have been torn to sheds like the roof he was just on.
He back flipped in mid air and landed heavily on top of one of them. The creature screamed in pain as he drew Executioner stab it into one of it’s vital nervous control center. As disgusting dark fluids ooze out of the wound, Jeno whispered the same merciless word.
A massive beam of light blasts a 2 metre radius hole right through the beast, silencing it permanently. The cannon spell engulfed several others more that were unfortunate enough to be flying below it. The skyscraper below him was also flattened.
Using the force of the blast, he propelled his body higher to dodge several scourges that thought they could catch him off guard, but ended up ramming into each other and exploding on impact. He gracefully sheathed his blade among all this.
Firing off one of his chain bind to capture another helpless Mutalisk, Jeno yanked hard to pull the creature towards him which he slammed his foot into. He then proceed to using it as a body shield to soak up the volley of wurms and suicidal scourges coming from the other aerial Zergs that were nearby.
However, once the dusts clears and the poor sucker’s body corrodes to pieces, the remaining aliens were in for the last surprise of their short lifetime.
Standing on his navy-blue Midchildan magic circle, Jeno summoned up hundreds of arrowhead-shaped projectiles, all of them pointed in the direction of the swarm. His eyes glowed a chilling deep blue.
“Chew on this.”
Executioner:<Serrated Edge>
With pinpoint accuracy, each of the projectiles found their way into every single vital spots on their targets. The Mutalisks themselves didn’t even had the time to scream before their bodies turned limp and fell from the skies.
With most of their air force destroyed, Jeno decided to turn to the ridiculous number of Zerglings on the ground. There’s only a small group of flyers left the ones that were flying too low for him to spot when he was casting the projectile spell.
Wanting to finish this up as soon as possible, he begins charging up another spell, one which he focuses into the stainless while blade of his device.
He dives down to meet the aliens that were viciously crying out for his blood. Somehow, Jeno thought he could sense the Mutalisks’ desperation as they blindly shoot and spew as many wurms as their bodies would allow them to do so.
Not that it matters anyway. They’re just worms after all.
Executioner:<Serrated Spiral>
With one mighty swing of his device, Jeno unleash a torrential wave shaped like a serpent upon the last of the flyers.
The spiral plow right through the entire mob, ripping and shedding anything in it’s way.
Some of them tried to dodge it, but the great serpent just reels it’s ‘head’ around and hunts them down. The wurms were engulfed immediately, the larger Mutalisks weren’t so lucky. Jeno controlled and redirected the spiral to strike some in multiple locations. They were literally torned to pieces.
Jeno slowed his descend as he gets closer to the ground.
_._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._._. _._._._._._._._._.
“FROM THE POWER OF THE HORDE!!!!” The three destroyers roared.
-=[I LOVE THIS STUFF!]=-
(To be Continue...)
I haven't finished it yet, and I skipped the grammar check
But I thought I can give you guys the first half
I'll reveal more of their spells in the second half... Also, let me know how I can improve on my battle descriptions
It's been awhile...
Despite the Zerg having been in this thread since the beginning, I think this is the first time we've seen them in action. And the Trio does not dissapoint in delivering the epic stylish smackdown!
Damn, had an idea on the Dimensional Lockbox sometime ago, beat me to writing it though
Also, nice rhyme

Spoiler for Minea's Diaries Spoiler:
Celesti sat alone in her office on a warm morning. Her holographic computer displayed charts and information, with a photograph of Minea, displaying the increases in her magic level, Lost Logia Activity, and Astral Heaven’s connection to Minea. Slowly, but surely, she was finding the results she needed. Tomorrow began a new string of testing on Minea to see what properties the Astral Heaven has gained since its last use.
Celesti made a motion with her hand for the diagrams to vanish, but a familiar face appeared before her; a real time image communications from a colleague and acquaintance. Thanks to the trouble this man was stirring she was able to perform more elaborate experiments and research without being uncovered. A sinister, mad scientist grin wide on his thin lips, narrow eyes glaring at whoever fell in front of him, and shoulder length, grayed purple hair resting on white clothed shoulders. Celesti smiled a delightful reaction. “Scaglietti, what do I owe the pleasure of this communication?” She spoke confidently while her hands ideally drew back her deep jasmine hair. Red eyes stared forward catching any movements in Scaglietti’s face.
“My fear, Celesti, still trying to look like Precia did, hmm?’ He spoke with a chuckle at the end of his words. “I remember when you used to have the most beautiful chestnut hair. And your eyes the color of sapphires.” His voice rang with a soft reminiscing sound. “But, your admiration for Precia lead you to alter your own genetic code to look so much like her.’
Celesti was visibly moved by the words that he spoke of, speaking of the past in such a fashion. The smile she gave had a hint of longing twitching at the bottom tier. “Yes, but if you recall, I admired her but I loved you. That was not meant to be, our work was more important, is more important then any romance between two demented minds.”
“How true. How are my daughters?” The mad scientist replied.
“They are not your daughters, my dear Scaglietti, only Minea is related to another.”
“They are my daughters, regardless what you may think. My Project Fate did make them. Never the less, using Precia’s DNA and your own to create Minea, how ever did you get her permission for such a thing?”
“Unfortunately, I didn’t.” Celesti sighed pushing her self back some from her desk, her right leg rising crossing to hand down besides her left. “I took it during an accident where she bled. But no matter, the ends justify the means. After your attack that brought the TSAB such fear yesterday, I am now able to go ahead with my next string of experiments on Minea.”
“How is that coming along? Still working to abuse her to break her into a submissive kitten? You know, there was someone else who did that due to her insanity… and her little daughter clone went and turned on her.”
Celesti felt shear hatred fill her body the moment that one word was spoken: Failure. She shook her head at the possibility that such a thing would happen. “No, I have changed my idea and have ordered Alexandria to begin acting as a token big sister.
“And the cat ears you put on Minea… Why did you do that again? Ah yes, to honor the only friend you had growing up; your dear cat. It’s too bad those ruffians when you were little skinned the little dear.” Scaglietti so enjoyed tearing into Celesti’s wounds.
“Yes, I do remember who helped me through the hard times. Unlike someone whom I am now speaking too, I have yet to fail or be forced to hide away like a villain in the night.” She smirked lightly shaking her head ruffling the black locks from her eyes. “Oh how we get along so well, my dear.”
“Yes, quite right. But there are other matters I have wanted to discuss.”
“What would that be?”
“I am willing to give you two pieces for one piece. Information and data on the Book of the Night Sky, and something you may want to know. In exchange? All I ask for is combat data on Alexandria and the cyborgs that you built with my plans.” Scaglietti replied bringing a hand to rub his chin.
“Due to the chaos you created yesterday, the Admiral here has become quite nervous lately and caused some movement in the forest last night. This created an alarm that has forced my daughter to explore the surrounding forest with her unit. I will have the data for you when they return.”
“Excellent, I am sending the information on the Book and its owner now. As for the other piece, I believe you will be ecstatic to know that someone is investigating your facility. I do not know who, but they are already there keeping an eye on both you and the Admiral.” Scaglietti laughed lightly watching for Celesti’s reaction.
Celesti coyly grinned at this news. “Is that right? Good. It will make it much easier now to remove that incompetent admiral from his position now. His business work on the side has no further use for me, and my Artificial Mages are more powerful then his drug could ever create.”
“Drug?” Scaglietti questioned with an inquisitive tone.
“I’ll send the data over. If you like, I will even remove the Admiral’s Lost Logia from his possession.”
“Please do. Good luck, my Dear Celesti.”
“Good luck to you as well. May our goals be reached.”
Scaglietti was Celesti's past flame? Wow... two demented minds indeed And we finally get to see why Minea is a nekomimi, and her links to Project F

The assembled members of Section Six stood silently before the ruins of the transport train. Two of their members were not present, one missing and presumed dead, the other was kneeling amidst the wreckage, cursing himself and whatever gods were there.
“Ignatius…” Subaru and Hikaru made to move towards the older boy ahead of them, but were stopped short by Teana and Signum. Teana shook her head softly.
“Not now, Subaru. Not now. If we go over there now…” The gunslinger paused, as if remembering something. “If we go to him now, he’ll lash out at us.”
Spoiler for Grim Reunion:
Ignatius jumped over Nove’s attack, and let loose a cartridge from Flame Braver, charging power into his fist as he approached the panicking cyborg with a fiery gleam in his eye.
“It’s over!” And with that, he swung his now blazing fist at Nove, who closed her eyes in preparation for the end. The fist got closer… then stopped, blocked by a set of familiar claws attached to a familiar person in a black bodysuit. Ignatius was silent for a moment, processing the person before him with a shocked and hopeful stare.
“Katsuhito…. You’re alright!” Ignatius whispered, joyously. Katsuhito was quiet, then he looked up, and shattered every hope the older boy had. The face was Katsuhito’s, but it wasn’t his. Where Katsuhito’s eyes were calm and gentle, the eyes on the face in front of Ignatius held the glint of insanity, and a hint of circutry. The mouth twisted into a sadistic, feral grin.
“It’s been a while… Aniki!”
Katsuhito swung the other claw down.
His other personality coming out? Too short though, need to see more

Spoiler for The Curtain Rises:
There were few souls present in the now deserted lab in the Cradle. Most of the mobile Numbers had proceeded to head to the mission point- teleportation upwards to the vessel. The Doctor, busy as he generally was, left for "business" to attend to, he said, with Uno following along behind him.
This left V, standing silently at the front of the lab, his eyes skimming across the multitude of tubes in the dimly lit facility. He stayed like that a while, then turned to his companions, the others present in the spacious room. These were none other than the Numbers suited for close combat, the most of them in the least- Tre, Cinque and Sette. Theodore and Sigourney stood to attention beside them. The masked man opened up a communications window- Quattro answered, with Dieci by her side.
"Ah, V-san", she said, cheerily. "Is everything going to plan?", she asked, inquisitively. "Or are you stalling for once?"
"I don't need any of your trite remarks, Quattro", he replied, strictly. "And yes, everything is running as scheduled. I don't need t tell you anything more- you and the others have already acertained what they have to do." His tone was demanding. "Don't dilly-dally, for our sake- just move, with haste."
The Number only nodded silently in response, and closed window herself. V about-turned to those gathered. "And then there are our orders", he exclaimed, sharply. "What the old team must perform to keep this place intact..." He glanced at each of his allies, smirking under his porcelain mask.
"No doubt all of you are up to the task", he uttered. "From what the Doctor has gathered, the enemy has sent their best..."
"Hopefully better after their downfall", he stated to himself.
"Yes, their best", he mused. "Along with several clusters of air mages, purportedly." He started pacing up and down in a line across the group. "Also, cross-plane disturbances have detected the presence of a rather sizable Bureau fleet. But!", he cried, turning swiftly to those he faced. "That matters not", he concluded.
He strode over to Cinque, who had Stoff situated next to her, spear in hand. "I do not doubt your ability, my sweet", he said, coyly. "I just don't want you to get in too deep." He leaned forward. "Remember what happened last time?"
Cinque looked down and grimaced. That Nakajima girl losing her temper on her, to put it flatly, hadn't done the best for her. She had been spared major damage when V stepped in, and it was because of him that she had been allowed to continue ops, but it was a near-death experience nonetheless.
"All too well..." she replied, reminiscing. The eye-patched girl tilted her head upwards again. "But there'll be no mistakes this time."
V nodded in glee. "Good, good!", he shouted, sauntering over to Tre and Sette, but not before taking a brief amount of time to examine Cinque's new weapons (foot-long knives, curved) and suit, which the other Numbers bore.
He smiled slyly under his facial covering. "Red and black work nicely" he thought, "Works well with the upgrade, I must say..." He suppressed a chuckle.
"As for the two of you..." V directed a question at the duo. "Looks like your sister is coming..." He outstretched his hand, and another window formed, showing a blond-haired mage- Fate- on the other side. "Try to greet her into our domain without obliterating her hm?" Tre and Sette exchanged glances of slight annoyance.
V noticed this, and continued, somewhat cautiously. "Although I know you don't go over the top, of course, usually. But with all due seriousness, don't fully pulverize her- she could be of use."
Tre bobbed her head up and down in apprehension. "I am sure father would think the same thing", she replied. "Just as we understood his orders, we understand yours...in his absence", she noted. V nodded, remembering the fact that Jail had granted him only temporary command over some of the Numbers in his leave. Sette remained silent, yet V suspected she showed signs of inner concern.
"And, in your case..." He looked at Sigourney and Theo. "You act as per usual...support, in this case. Looks like your rivals are being towed along." Theodore's fist tightened at the mention of the one who wielded Strada, and Sigourney nodded in taciturnity, and snapped a salute. The two wheeled round and left the vicinity.
"Well then, my sisters..." He stepped back to the small cluster of Numbers, and viewed them admirably, evidenced by his tone. "All is set up on the Doctor's end, and the same holds true for us. Make or break time is upon us."
He took his place back at the front of the room, and murmured coldly and slowly:
"Let's get started...shall we?"
Uh...hm...
Now that I review this piece, I see quite a few flaws. I'm not exactly sure about the structure of it all, and I made up excuses for a few things (the new suit being an example- that is part of a proposed "upgrade scheme", but even then that's rather far-fetched...even though I like the new suit).
I also feel that this scene is somewhat random. The Numbers also have a lack of words. Cinque doesn't speak much, neither does Sette, but Tre's a more talkative one, albeit in serious terms. Sigourney is usually taciturn, but Theodore...he could've done with a few words.
All in all, though, I leave the fate of this piece in the hands of you, the readers. Give an honest opinion on this one.
EDIT: Please don't tell me I kinda killed this thread.
Nope you didn't kill the thread... it just lulls at times
Anyways, foot-long knives? Scimitars? Nice upgrade, along with the interactions between the Numbers and V

Spoiler:
The setting if you haven't figured out already, takes place during the pre-TSAB ancient Belkan era.
Ryhen and Karl wear headpieces decorated with Belkan triangles
bio:
Ryhen: Belkan Archaeologist. Male, mid 40s. Dubbed Model T Case 1 as "Ford". Ryhen yearns for a more peaceful era and is extremely interested in the lost civilization of Alhazred.
Karl: Belkan Archaeologist. Male, mid 40s. A methodical thinker, although some might consider him to be rather unfriendly.
Model T Case 1: Artifact of unknown origin currently being studied under the supervision of archaeologist Ryhen and Karl.
Ah, so they're ancient archaeologists...melike the idea already, if only because it means Kay won't be the only archaeologist here. Quite older than I expected though
And what is Ford anyway? A burning bush?

Spoiler for I Do Not Have A Name...:
Nanoha had her target clearly in her line of sight.
Said targets were two unknown individuals, both female, clad in blue, one spectacled and wearing a white overcoat. They had been cornered after a brief chase, the duo sandwiched between the brown-haired Ace and her partner, with both Raging Heart and Bardiche pointed at the foes before them.
The spectacled woman cursed under her breath. "Damn..." She and her companion watched hopelessly as the two combatants charged up attacks of their own, yellow and pink magic circles forming under them.
Raging Heart spoke up, informing its master of what to do. "Knock out by Buster. After that, arrest it."*
Enough magic energy had been channeled through the staff to do the job. Fate had also finished, both devices ejecting a numerous amount of cartridges.
Watching from a distance, standing next to a tall, purple-haired woman who, too, was blue-clad, a man donning a mask viewed the situation.
"Well!", he said, rather whimsically. "Looks like they need help after all.." His voice lowered to a faint mutter, barely audible. "And there went Quattro, saying she would be fine."
An unnatural sound filled the air, and the man glanced to his right to notice the woman beside him forming a magic circle. "IS activate...Ride Impulse..." Wings of a light purple color formed on her boots and back. Just as she was about to jet off, he raised his hand in objection.
"Stay here, Tre", he spoke, his tone still light but now holding a degree of commanding to it. "I shall handle this."
The figure now identified as Tre looked at him curiously. She still had the circle around her, ready to leave at a moment's notice, and stated, warily: "Are you sure you know what you're doing?"
"Dearest Tre, if I knew not what I was doing, why would I take it upon myself to do it, hm?"
His reply convinced her into silence, and he took off without a word towards his target, his form shifting into that of a jet-black streak darting through the sky.
The pair of mages prepared to fire after the cartridge ejection had taken place. Fate was the first to strike, Zanber Bardiche giving out an eerie yellow glow.
"Trident..."
She hefted the blade up, and pointed it ahead of her, the weapon sparking with energy.
"...Smasher!"
A beam of concentrated magic power shout outwards from the sword, and was joined in mere split seconds by two more that arced outwards from the sides of the blade, the pattern forming, as the attack suggested, the shape of a trident as the beams homed in on their destined target.
Nanoha followed suit. "Excelion..."
She waited patiently for her device to acquire a lock. It did so in a matter of seconds.
"...Buster!"
A gargantuan pink beam of focused essence followed up Fate's movement, the projectile also heading towards the unfortunate pair trapped before them With expressions of dread on their features, the two could only watch in despair before both attacks collided, engulfing them in a storm of smoke and fire.
Back at Central, the ground crews were rejoicing over the victory.
Alas, however, it was only a brief celebration.
"Wait..." Shari leaned forwards, closely examining something on the view-screen. As the smoke cleared, she saw a man dressed in gray and black, masked too add to it, levitated in the air before the targeted pair, both arms outsretched. Shields on either palm faded into nothingness.
He turned to the spectacled girl, and said, almost accusingly: "Really, Quattro. 'I'll come out without a scratch'? That was one fine mess you got yourself into- you're lucky I took the initiative, my dear."
Both Aces gave this newcomer a look of both confusion and hostility. The man turned his head to them. "So, here are the perpetrators", he murmured. "That number you tried to pull on my allies wasn't very wise." He shook his head as emphasis on that point.
Puzzled, yet readied, Fate directed a question at the stranger, pointing up Bardiche at him in the process, the device still being in its sword form.
"Who are you?", she inquired in a direct tone.
The man's response was prompt, equally direct, and also somewhat dark. "I do not have a name", he uttered. He rounded off his sentence by saying, as a means of introduction:
"You can call me V."
And as for further upgrades to other Numbers, I think I might have some in mind- others I am unsure of, however. I might very well keep that new red/black Numbers suit idea...intriguing, to say the least.
And, to Kha...
[Shock] That, good sir, is V himself. [/Shock]
His "dark side" (not his insane side ) was bred out of an idea that I am currently expanding in which he is on the side of the Doctor and the Numbers/Letters (although the Letters might be featured less prominently in this scenario). His appearance is also different, with him looking more like Hei. I think I told you this before, but I'm just clarifying.
Then again, I could go the paradoxical route and have both Vs, one being the escapee, the other being the loyal soldier...
Episode 12 would've been more awesome had this happened in Canon!

Not much of Hikaru’s past is notable. He lived in Germany, and went to Japan often. The reason he is well known is because of his current affiliation with Section 6 as the prime member of the Riot Squad, and his extremely unusual device, Doppleganger (who is a character in his own right). Hikaru is normally seen working with Nanoha Takamichi’s Stars team along with Riot-2, Miria Hasser, with whom he shares a good relationship with (unbeknownst to either of them, the entirety of Section Six is placing bets on when they’ll become a legitimate couple. The bookie in charge of the bets is Doppleganger).
Another budding couple huh? Let's see how this goes.

(One guy on another board over in Iraq was talking about how the assholes in charge of his base was trying to get carbonated beverages banned, because some idiot drank too much coke and not enough water and passed out.)
So that’s my issue with trying to apply heavy amounts of real military thinking, strategy, and behavior to stories that are supposed to be fun. I’ve been writing a fic on and off (it’ll probably never be published) for like a year and I started out wanting to try and keep the military in it pretty realistic… then I started to realize that you know what? The real military is BORING for the most part, in fact the only parts of it that are exciting tends to involve units and people that are somewhat OUTSIDE the normal armed forces, like Special Forces and stuff.
I’d like to see a slightly higher emphasis placed on the fact they ARE in a military, but at the same time I don’t think it should be a huge aspect of the story nor should it be slammed over your head like them all having their heads shaved and yelling HOOOAH (!!!) all the time. I also think you need to realize that RF6 is way closer to say, Delta Force, then an line infantry division so some allowance HAS to be made for their status as what amounts to Special Forces which often includes relaxed rules with regards to rank, somewhat loser discipline, and a certain disregard for the rules set out for “normal” troops.
So it's a REAL fine line. Totally ignoring the fact they are technically in what amounts to an armed service isn't an option, but trying to delve too heavily into that aspect or make it a big deal is a great way to induce bordem. (Go read some Clancy's more techno thrillers, fairly accurate, but BOOOORING.) So you don’t want them to act like stooges, but having them plan everything in minute detail and only use established military protocols and strategies and stuff is going to get old fast. The show has a military aspect, but it’s still ultimately about magic girls flying around without airplanes and firing off magic spells, it isn't Band Of Brothers nor should it be IMO so I don't think we should get too caught up with the largely background military aspect and try to bring that to the fro or whine how it isn't like the "real" military, RF6 might be part of a military but it ain’t a military like any WE’VE ever known.
Agreed on all points. Despite StrikerS having a more military feel to them, we must remember that as something based more on magic than technology, there will be leeway to be had concerning the portrayal of military procedures, rules and regulations here. Having long ago realized that fiction is fiction, it shouldn't be a big problem if we don't conform too much to real world military examples, although it would make for good references in writing. Just up to the writer whether he wants to make it more miltaristic or not, which StrikerS canon actually allows, and why writing in this setting give us lots of ideas
The definition of what's boring though... well, I like political thrillers

Kha's role isn't set in stone, because he's the only one there is. If there's a good reason to help out in any way, he'd throw himself fully at the task. Something that the CK Forwards are learning about.
He also doesn't do teleevangelism doesn't he? Nice description on his role though.
Btw, you should compile all of these short info pieces on Kha into one massive piece, so we don't have to go back and search for them whenever we need refs

He prefers getting down on the ground. Besides, divine power can't be transmitted by psynet.
And yeah this entry will go into Codex: Daemonjaeger. For a preview, here's...
Ehh, someone once told me that this place is the pit of madness (and Kha isn't really helping to alleviate that image ), and that I'd be safer staying away from here.
Now that I'm in, I should say that this pit looks a bit more bottomless than those of Hell .
Btw, can anyone please enlighten me on how things are done here? If I'm to input my own characters here, am I supposed to keep to the OC fanon timeline, or can I create my own based on Nighty's official timeline? I have some already in mind that may or may not conform with the OC timeline Kha has provided.
(I humbly confess I have not yet undertake the daunting task of going through nearly 400 pages of supposed madness .)
@ Kha: Oh, and does the Church of Velka have a main orphanage?
There is one run by the Church in the city of New Antioch where the Monarch Church is. There's a smaller daycare in the church, something like a kindergarten.
Note that this is purely speculation. Might be shot to pieces.

You can do both, though technically, my NBC fanon timeline is supposed to be an expanded version of Nighty's official timeline .
Ginga obviously took a leaf out of Lagann's book...
@Lowe:
Well, scimitars are a good guess. I was thinking more along the lines of falchions, though those aren't exactly a foot long...and, what the heck, they and scimitars are rather similar, only the scimitar has a thinner blade with more of a curve.
And if I wanted to do ultimate h4xx, I would more than gladly give Cinque these:
Spoiler for Size:
*Runs.*
She can still use her IS perfectly well with newer, more potent weapons- said weapons also allow her to have more of an edge in close combat than with her knives. A good increase of her abilities all round. I might make a slight update to Rumble Detonator, too, though I think it's good as it is.

You're not "supposed" to do anything. You do what you want to do. You can create a character and try to integrate it to the canon timeline (which is Nighty's official timeline) or you can make a complete alternate universe...its up to you.
And while going through those 400 pages might be helpful, it is not needed. If you ever have any questions, just ask...we dont mind explaining things here.
One last thing, "NBC" means New Belka Chronicles. Its the name Kha gave to the "canon universe".
