Frets on an electric are closer together and so are the strings. And let's not talk about neck action. Or maybe I'm just argh going anywhere higher than 12th on my acoustic. .w.;

Do note that he is also using a classical guitar:

• Wider nutwidth — most classical guitars start at 2" at the top and hit 3" at the body, whereas most electric guitars don't even hit 2" meeting the body?
• Wider nutwidth means the strings are farther apart, duh.
• 12th fret on a classical guitar is where the neck meets the body.
• The proper way of holding a classical guitar is holding it at an angle between 30 and 45 degrees. Like, I'm much more comfortable holding it at a lower angle, but I have to buck up and hold it at 45 degrees for certain songs.

I often ask myself why do I play on a classical guitar with my small hands....

I stumbled onto this thread when trying to find a bass tab for this song. I never did find one, though I tried to make one, but stopped when it was distracting me from actually learning to song. There's a lot of fills I missed, especially in the chorus, but there should be an official score shortly.

If anyone is trying to learn this on bass, what I can say is that the key is A major, the only chromatic notes are in fills (and probably not in the original song) and the bpm in ~210 with a syncopated quarter/8ths pattern. Like many k-on songs, many of the fills are octave slides.
