Ummm... Yeah, just taking a break from heavy metal and playing the bass...
Just making a note here: the guitar is NOT mine. It's my younger brother's guitar, but he's given me permission to use it as long as I don't subject it to any extreme drop-tunings. That said, I probably should have gone for a Les Paul body instead of a Flying V body when I was buying my second guitar back at the start of 2006... I made a tiny, but very obvious mistake with the second chorus and mangled the slow interlude, and the improvised guitar solo leaves a lot to desire for, but this was a pretty fun song to jam along in regards to working on my rhythm guitar playing. In the end, though, I'll still stick to playing the bass when I finally do get around to putting together a band. Other things to take note of - I didn't record directly onto the computer (which should be pretty obvious), and Youtube has a tendency to further reduce the quality of the already-poor audio mix. Last, but not least, I usually prefer to play standing up as though I was performing live. A tip for budding guitarists and bassists: play your instrument as though you're on stage (ie, standing up).

yooooooo so I finally managed to get a hold of the first band score.
However, there are a few notations that are unfamiliar to me. Either they do things a little differently in Japan, or I'm just retarded. Can anyone tell me what things like "cho.", "h.c.", "1h.u.", "D", and "h.d." mean? I thought cho might mean chorus, but it seems to mean "bend," for some reason. |

cho. = choking = full bend (2 frets) h.c. = half choke = half bend (1 fret) 1h.c = 1 and a half = one and a half bend (3 frets) u. = choke up h.u. = half choke up 1h.u. = one and a half choke up D. = choke down h.d. = half choke down o jeez, this also explains the drum and D.S./x tacet etc. bits. That's pretty cool.

I attached a bass tab for U&I tab to the video I linked earlier. It's very rough but if someone wants to play the song on bass, it's a starting point. |

choking up = pre-bend choking down = returning the bend to its original note

uhm could anyone care to make a guitar pro file of CaptAwesome's uploaded pictures of the scoresheet of Let's Go? because i just realized how hard it is to stare at the monitor without blinking, and how my eyes hurt as i focus on the image. it would be an ease if someone would do so.. to someone who could do that will earn my neverending gratitude!!! thanks!!!
