Wow, 34 was amazing, Erza finally fighting back a bit, and back in her armor. Juvia's little rivalry with Lucy is hilarious. Now we have evil twins, or does maybe that machine, make twins/copies clones?

Spoiler for Episode 35:

Sawashiro Miyuki voices her fourth character of the series.

The censoring kinda hurt the flashback, though that's nothing new for this series so i just ignore it, though apart from that this was a fantastic episode. The new pieces of music used for the flashback seriously paid off, especially during Rob's sacrifice scene. That had me in plenty of tears, and with the addition of that piece of music, made it a lot more hard hitting then the manga.

Along with the scene with Simon and Sho, which was done so well. This is what i expect to see from an adaptaton of Fairy Tail, where the musical score plays such an important part of delivering the added impact of a scene. Seriously worked wonders in this episode.

Next week is where all the action will start, so here's hoping it delivers.

Ultear is Zeref which is why she hates her mother so much. (Because she killed one of her demons.) Following this logic getting killed will make Jellal give off maximum hatred and thus more power or something.

Well this episode confirms that Siegrien and Jellal know about each other. It's nice having the arc mysteries start coming together. We also learn about Wally's dandy obsession. Apparently they have movies. Also Owl head next episode.
Erza learning magic was pretty awesome but Jellal making that guard explode was just nasty. I'm not sure if I'd be able to survive seeing that uncensored.

Although now I'm confused about whether the magic council is a Fiore national or an international organisation. Because apparently firing this cannon means a declaration of war against some country I didn't catch the name of.

What he does to the two guards is different in the manga, and yes a lot more nasty. With added blood and all. Plus there's no masks to cover up their faces.

As i mentioned already, it's Sawashiro Miyuki. Her fourth role in this series.

I already though that she won't do any more, good to see that I was wrong. But I really would like for her to play bigger roles... she and Houko Kuwashima are voicing some of my favorite anime characters.

I think this has been the best episode by far for me. Erza's first use of magic complemented by the music etc. just seemed spectacular.

Really didn't like young Erza's voice, particularly when young brainwashed Jeral started using his full-on adult voice. Is that Minori Chihara? It sounds suspiciously like her.

Jeral killing off the guards was well-done. Better than the manga, actually.

OTOH, the scene where Erza washed up on the beach had weak execution. Felt like it went too quickly.

Other than that, great music! I like Jeral's bagpipes piece that first showed up a couple eps ago.

the music! that BGM gave me goosebumps... I can't wait for the second album of Fairy Tail!

apart from the dramatic storytelling, the humour is great as always. Happy playing with a robotic cat, stupid Natsu playing around and ends up stuck with the cat helmet. haha.

poor Erza. She's has a sad past and couldn't talk about it to anyone for 8 years. Still, her past explains a lot about her personality, her attitude, manner and her love for armour. The animation makes all these more dramatic than manga as it has both motion and sound.

Than I watched episode 35... and Zeref was using a female voice... LOL...


Also... Erza was soooo cute at 7:45
