Weren't Obito eyes so sensible he had to wear a dive mask ? I think Kakashi's mask would actually make the matter worse, but I can seen him hiding his eye for that reason. And also, showing off a Sharingan in Konoha would not exactly make the Uchiha happy.

Anyways, yes, I think he can't turn off his sharingan. But, that's not necessarily the reason why he wears a mask. Wearing a mask shouldn't turn off the sharingan, it should just make him use his sharingan on the mask.

if i recall we don't know exactly how Itachi killed off his clan. How much he used the MS is a complete unknown. He may have very well used normal sharigan to kill off most of them, killing them before they could put up a fight and only used the MS once of twice for the members who put up more of a fight...

I don't think we a sure on the limits of the MS... when it comes to genjutsu we have only seen him effect one person at a time, but ofcourse there was usually only one person looking at him while he used MS... in specualtion, it could be possible for him to use MS to catch EVERYONE that looks into his eyes, thus allowing him to take out a dozen or so poeple in a single hit of MS... but that's in raw speculation

Can someone help me out please? I'm trying to get rid of the fillers of part I so that I can show a friend of mine only the good part of Naruto Part 1. Here's what I know for sure:
episode 97 is filler (Hot Spring stuff with Tsunade)
episode 101 (the uncovering Kakashi's face)
Tea Country (101-106)
Episode 137+

Did I forget any? Thanks for the help!

I think that here you can clearly see what is filler and what's quality, there such a big difference that fillers cannot be mistaken for the real content
The problem is there's no clear filler - non filler episode after episode 136. If i remember correctly the first half of epsiode 136 was not filler, while the second went to filler, than there was some non-filler material in 137 too, after that everything is filler, then after 137 filler parts went to almost 100% with no relevant content.

And just so you know, the uncovering of Kakashi's face is not filler. It is an expanded version of an omake from the manga. It worked much better as a one-page gag, but it isn't filler.

Technically it would be episode 221, but they're treating it as a brand-new series. Naruto Shippuden ep 1 is the end of the filler.

That's pretty much it. At this point, Itachi, Kakashi (though not exactly the same MS as Itachi) and someone else who has not been named yet (even if according ot most of the theories, Uchiha Madara is the 3rd MS user).

Depends on what kind of taste you are talking about. We all know that Sasuke had experienced the MS multiple times, and that was what allowed Kakashi to understand MS, thereby, allowed him to develop his own MS. So, logically, Sasuke had what it takes to develop MS.

But, the possibility of him to develop MS is much much lower than the possibility of him not developing it. There are two reasons for that.

First, the information Sasuke has on MS is limited to what Itachi knows. Meaning, Sasuke is only aware of the method that Itachi mentioned to him. So, it is highly likely that Sasuke didn't work on developing MS as much as Kakashi, and maybe he hasn't worked on it at all. If Itachi couldn't develop using normal means, despite his highly evolved sharingan at an early age, then expecting more from Sasuke would be asking too much.

Secondly, MS is, most probably, what allowed Itachi to stop Orochimaru's attempt(s) to invade his body. So, if Sasuke had obtained it by now, with the help of the Cursed Seal level 2, Sasuke would have already left Oro. But, that is not the case.

Remember that Kakashi had his Sharingan on when He received the Tsukijoumy, whereas Sasuke Never had his Sharingan Activated the two times he received it.

If Kakashi Gained the MS by Understanding it as you said, then the Sharingan and Kakashi Genius mind played a very important role in gaining this, I believe if it were that easy to gain it as you put it, then the MS shouldn’t be so rare to begin with.
