I don't think so. If they wanted to kill the world, they could do it. But it's plain that they weren't just dropping people into a dream but were doing something else too given all the lightning changes. I'm thinking they were basically conserving the world. So it forever stays like that.
People technically alive, possibly forever, but no longer a problem since they are locked inside themselves in their paradise worlds.

I actually prefer this longer haired Ginko and think her new look is an improvement.

I'm really surprised by how forward Haru is now. I'm guessing she and Miu picked on Souya partly as a way to get back at him for beating them.

So Takezo really did kick the bucket, just not in a way that many would expect.

As much as I am enjoying the show, I'm kinda of mix on this because I feel Planet With might leaning a bit more on the opposite. That the characters (at least everyone other than Soya, Benika and Sensei) lack "meat" in terms of development due how packaged the series comes across thanks to mechanical pacing. There little time for many of the cast growth to take hold and sink in because personal conflicts and doubts are settle in such a short is timespan. The show makes for an excellent blockbuster type of dealie, but just doesn't have time sit down and explore themes it setups more.

It just feels too neatly I guess.

She not useless though. Nozomi is Soya's friend and the one person he connect to the most in his life on earth. Whether you like her is of course up to you, but she undisputedly an important part of Soya's life and he would have come to care about earth as much if where for her presence.

That's fine and by default makes her not "useless". Enablers are what allows things to happen.
Except she actually gone against him when she fit it was needed. Being a stronger supporter doesn't mean she is a doormat. She does the best a normal person cna in this kind situations.
Subjective. I think everyone in the cast is well characterized, it's impact of developments that are the problem and the 12 episode format hurts it for a cast size this big.

Totally a matter of opinion there man. While she's not my type either I'm sure there are people who would call her attractive. She's certainly not what I'd call "ugly". And it's definitely a matter of perspective whether she's "enabling" him or not. Would you rather a guy who's worn out, can't find a reason to fight and is still processing things be shoved into a robot and told "quit running and just fight"? We saw a series like that once. It went down in history. Put someone like that on the field and no good will come from it. She didn't simply say "you don't want to fight then OK", she saw how he was acting, realized how he felt and stood up to protect him to the small extent she could. I for one would not say she's "enabling" anyone.

Except that her standing up for him had nothing to do with being normal, but about doing what he wanted. She saw that he didn't want to fight so she stood up for him and told everyone else off for pushing their desires on to him. If he was gung-ho about fighting , then she would have sent him off while cheering him on. It was never a matter of normality, it was a matter of Souya having someone in his corner that understood him and was willing to stand up for him.

One of the main themes of show has been about people making their own choices. Nozomi saw that Soya didn't want to fight, and respected his choice and pointed out to everyone else that they should do the same. That's called being a good friend, which is what he needed.

And I also think Nozomi is cute.

Super epic, but like this, the heroine is uglyhomely

Still epic even with that fact, but I can't help to think that the reason for it's unpopularity was because the heroine is not pretty

There's no reason they couldn't design her prettier
There was no moral value like "appearance is second to heart" or something
In the anime itself, nobody ridicules Nozomi for her looks, thus her looks is not bad to the eyes of the characters
Why not make her appealing to the audiences as well?
There is no meaning to her homely looks. Compare this to Chihiro in TWGOK, she being not prettier than other heroines has meaning and impact to the story.

Just hate it when your favorite shows not popular because something so easily fixed

Mostly because it's really subjective, Nozomi is still pretty cute and even if it only depended on that there's still an audience for the "cute and kind" sort. I won't deny that obviously a show can ride strongly on the appeal of a single girl because that's for example basically what "Darling in the Franxx" did for most of its runtime.

Nozomi is the girl I find the least attractive in this show but she's still pretty cute. And for the record, it looks like the show is going to sell pretty decently. I really hope it does well and it paves the way for adaptations of Mizukami's previous manga. As much as I love Planet With, I think it's the weakest of his main works.
