Thumbs up Feel Good Romance?

Male lead, down on his luck, depressed all the time or is always alone. Runs into a girl that's almost is completely opposite to him. (or doesn't have to be) and at first doesn't like her but sooner or later he finds out he loves her. Anybody got any suggestions?

P.S I really need this anime, my girlfriend just broke up with me and I really need a pick me up.

P.P.S I did not mark down any that I have watched siimply for the fact that if you feel the anme is right then I'm willing to watch it again

Thanks and Merry Christmas,
Siphine

Kimi no iru Machi. The manga is probably a better read than the anime though.

I watched the first episode of this and it literally almost made me cry because it was so close to what I was feeling. It really hits you hard and then makes you feel good right after. :')

Oregairu: Male lead is down to luck and always alone is forced work with girl that is completely opposite to himself (or not so much). And gradualy they become closer.

Hataraku Mao: Male protagonist is Demon lord striped out of all his power living in small apartment with his general and partiming in fastfood. Female Hero that defeated him is still around...

Arakawa under the bridge: son of rich magnate is saved by random girl, as person who was always teached repey his depts, he listen to her request and start live on riverbang with group of insanely extravagant homless group her included.

I am too lazy write all summaries but there is another few that meet your demands: Library wars, Tora Dora, Haruhi Suzumiya,Denpa Teki no Kanojo, Denpa Onna to Seishu Otoko, Chunnibyou , Haiyoru! Nyaruko-san,

And about Kimi no Iru Machi. I wouldn't recommend it. Not for nothing it's nicknamed "City where you rage". Of course it still has lot of fans and I heard anime toned down rage-worthy content, but if you decide to read/watch it, remember I warned you.

Thank you for all the wonderful suggestions Also I can understand why it got that nickname

UPDATE: Just finished "Town Where you Live" I have to say there were moments that were a little shaky but most of the time it pulled through and the ending made me so happy I almost cried :')
