New Persona related Atlus project

I say Persona only because of that P, but for all we know it could be one huge troll. The yellow makes you think high chances are it'll be an announcement for Persona 4 Portable, which i seriously hope it will be. Or even better, maybe a HD release of Persona 4? It certainly wouldn't surprise me, what with the anime starting in just over a months time.

Time to play the waiting game.

Its totally P4 Portable since Atlus have said that they wanted to do it for a while but they didn't like the whole cursor thing from P3P, and would wait for the next portable system or something like that.

Now i am less sure if its going to be on the Vita or the 3DS, probably the former but hey atlus so...

I remember reading something like that. Do you have a source?

& i totally hope it's on the PSP where it belongs. I mean the first three in the series are on the handheld, so it's only right.

I was thinking that P5 would come as an announcement at the end of the P4 anime. So no matter what this is it's good news. However:

While I would totally purchase and play P4P if it has a female route...

I don't. I like what they did with those two. I don't think there'd be anything that would add to the original story's enjoyment (compared to finding out exactly the way that the Great Seal worked in P3FES).

What you want is best done in fanfic anyway. :-P

My guess, just from the look of it, is a P4P announcement. But I have to echo what others are saying:

I WANT PERSONA 5!!!!!!111!!!

I'm sure they're working on it (they'd be foolish not to), and an announcement at the end of P4 the Anime seems like a pretty neat way to announce it.

Atlus have shown themselves to be able to be able to put out new games extremely quickly (persona 4 was produced 2 years, which is pretty good for games), I can only hope that Atlus is working on something really special for P5.

My only criticism of P4 was that, unlike P3, the timing for dungeon crawling vs. Social links was a bit off. There was a motive for doing an entire dungeon all in one go in P5, and after the first or second dungeon this was fairly easy. Consequently the excellent balance P3 had between dungeon crawling vs. Social Linking was somewhat lost. For instance, there was a good 2 months or so in the middle (summer holidays) where not much happened, particularly if you got the dungeon there done in one go.

In P5 or P4P I'd hope for them to improve on that.

So, like...P4 with Catherine's quality CG? That's...actually pretty awesome! Except for the fact that they might change 2D characters CG when talking to 3D real-time CG (which sometimes is..bad *glance at a certain 999 successor)

maybe but i heard that you need to bundle with other game (in this case probably P3) in order to do HD version

You could finish Tartarus crawling in one night as long as you changed your team for the last stretch.

Also for the people wanting P5,, buy Devil Survivor 2 is has teenagers in a dangerous situation with "Social Links" and demons and is way better than a persona game anyway*

*May or may not be better for you, for me it is

True, though your own character would still be fatigued. And your own character was by far the most important (given he was the only one you had direct control over...). Also, there wasn't as much to do in the evening in P3, so there wasn't as much motive to finish Tartarus in a single night.

But it's a weakness that both P3 and P4 had I guess. Either way, I'd prefer more, but smaller "mini dungeons" that were better integrated into the plot. P4 was a step in the right direction, but they could go further.
