It's nice to find an ACTIVE anime forum, most of them are dead/get like one post per week and I prefer active places. :\ So basically I'm not really a forumnewbie x)

I've been checking once in a while this community and finally I decided to join it. My name is Rodrigo, I live in Mexico City and my first contact with the world of anime came with Saint Seiya and Mazinger, so even if mecha and action types are my favorite genres, I can test and learn to enjoy different types of anime, such as Higurashi or Death Note.
However, I can say that reading is my most favorite hobby, since a book can prove to be a formidable instrument for unleashing imagination. Stephen King definitely is my favorite author (I have read almost all of his works, 'm missing only like 5 or 6 books) but lately I have been introduced to the "Hyperion" series by Dan Simmons and holy crap! It's awesome O_O!!!
Anyways, I hope to spend some good time around here.
