Going by the dates mentioned in the Premium Tank Removal news, 9.7 should be going live the week of April 5/6. I'm still more involved in trying to finally grind out the AMX 50B instead of the rest of the line, though the tiers 3-5 look like they'll be at least normal tanks, instead of the wild ride that the AMX 40/ELC/B1/BDR situation is now.

I love it how the friendly SPG that killed me says "You drove into my shell" when it's their own fault for firing into a tank melee in the first place, considering I had been doing the parallel-parked spinning attack thing against a turretless TD for a good ten seconds before they fired.

Considering it was tier 9, I got a good chunk of cash out of that.

Movement prediction is one of the responsibilities of an arty (how else does he hit enemies?). There really is no excuse for an arty to cause a teamkill other than sheer incompetence.

As an avid arty player I could tell you a few realistic reasons. It may be starting from sheer back luck (since RNG screws arty 95% of the time) to be a necessary evil.

Case in point for the later: A friendly TD has been flanked by a faster tank, the enemy parks behind him not allowing him to move or do something. Now, this could be the decisive move since the enemy could be either at low hp, or just has not enough armor to survive the shot however your ally will get the blast damage and maybe outright kill him, also that shot could make the difference between make your team win the game or lose. So you take your chances and shot.

NA Players - I've seen people being disappointed that premium account discounts are always for the shorter durations only, but this weekend is an exception: the '6 months' and '12 months' options are currently 15% off.

Thanks for that link. Not a single tank has been repeated twice yet, and they've repeated only 9 of the 21 On Track tanks, so I bet it'll be a quite a while before the 50B goes on sale again.

NA players: You can get a unique consumable ('Secret Weapon') by killing 10 tanks in a tier 5+ vehicle today. You can't re-earn it until you've used it, though. It's as of yet unknown if you get to keep it past April 1st, but I wouldn't be surprised if you could - after all, you can only have one per account.

I'm a bit bothered by the fact it's tier 5+ this time (it's always tier 4+ for these kinds of missions). For the usual missions I have stuff like my Hetzer and StuG III B when it's for damage or kills, but the ELC isn't exactly known for its ability to kill tons of tanks.

Just finished the mission. Looks like there's a medal involved as well, so it's worth doing even if you don't want the secret weapon.

Really? I thought it was rather underwhelming after last year's 8-bit battles. Only in-game thing is the suitcase bomb (which is pretty fun to see; I've seen it twice, once through arty top-down view and once got targeted - if you get targeted, you suddenly get a circle at the targeted position with a countdown, letting you know to GTFO immediately).

The zombie thing is just a flash game (which they also did last year in addition to the Karl), and the Waterworld of Tanks is just a parody article.
