I want to watch some good fantasy action anime, something like Regios or Bleach.

Romance and comedy are good, but not required. Rewatching Clannad (And still crying, even though I stopped after the last ep :'() gave me my romance fill, so it's not required.

Eechi is fine, but I'd prefer no filters like "OMG! The steam just magically placed over their bodies, but everything else is clear as day!" , but no Hentai. (Hentai defined as showing sex.. nudity is fine.)

I've watched many, and I can't remember most of their names... a few that come to mind are

Busou Renkin (Great!)
Romeo x Juliet
Naruto (Shippuuden, love this anime)
Bleach (Great anime, minus the Bontou. )
Regios
Rental Magica (Great, fantastic, sequel-deserving anime!)
Zero no Tsukaima (First season was great... second and third.. terrible..)
Eureka Seven (Only mecha anime I liked)

Anyways, I'd appreciate it if somebody could help me!

Oh, and absolutely no guns or mechs.

Claymore and Berserk are good dark action fantasy.
record of lodoss war is classic fantasy, very much like Lord of the rings.
Mahou senshi Riui is very funny.
Seirei no moribito is stuningly beautiful, but not that much action or fantasy.
Slayers is funny, with lots of action.

I've seen Claymore, fantastic anime, also reading the manga.

I'll look into those, I'll check Slayers out first.

You're watching Bleach, plus you find Busou Renkin great and you cried watching Clannad, which means you must watch One Piece. One Piece is the best long running series ever.

All these years, I've never felt another action fantasy more exciting than One Piece, plus I didn't cry for any other show, even Clannad, because it didn't reach the level of touching One Piece had.

I watched some of the dub a few years ago, it didn't really strike me because of the animation, but I'll give it another shot.

You watched it on 4kids right? Its one of the worse dubs ever, they utterly butchered the show, which is why it doesn't catch up in the west.

One Piece started a few years before Naruto or Bleach, that's why it still has 90's animation in the dubs. In the later episodes it gets a 21st century animation update and has some of the best action scenes ever.

ye...give it a shot, ive watched pretty much every anime i can find on anidb thats rated above 5.5 so i decided now was the time to watch one piece

am on 256 atmo and the jap version is pretty good, cant comment on the dub, never seen it

some nice ones you should like going by what you said...theres alot of action animes out there so just search ''action'' on forum if you want a wider scope

shounen onmyouji - fantasy / action set in historical time line
tsubasa chronicle - 2 seasons + some oav
Kurokami - fantasy/action set in modern time

Kekkaishi, Shounen Omyouji are good recs. KIBA. And the one about the 15 kids in the robot..Bokurano, not really just action, partly like drama too I guess.

Definitely Berserk.

I second the One Piece suggestion... it is my most favorite shonen series ever... you just have to get past the art style (which i notice turns off a lot of people right away).. definitely a good one!

the current English dubs by Funimation are also acceptable.. but the original Japanese is very good as well.. give it shot!
