Not explained yet, but you have to admit the experience he gained from fighting all those magician, esper, and saint(even though he's badly beaten) surely would have aid him in improve his street-fighting skill :P

He basically kept one-shotting bosses with h4xx and leveled up with all that exp.

Or maybe that thing about Dead = No Luck = Bad for bad luck being true. Therefore, IB screws with every part of his life and keeps him alive so that he can continue to experience bad luck.

Which also means that as long as he puts himself in impossible situations he will survive!

Don't really know anything about these types of games. Are they generally of decent quality, or are they cheap marketing deploys?
