It's more like amaenaideyo season two than another series with season 1 being TV episodes 1-12 and a DVD only episode 13 and season two being Katsu. They planned to do it all along as of late some other series have multiple seasons that do not air one after another. Tsubasa Chronicle is the biggest one with 1 season per year and Ichigo 100% is another that comes to mind with s1 being the tv series 4(5 including the jumpfest one) OVAs and 1speical then season two being direct to DVD release only.

Your right about the ecchi parts. I don't remember much from the first season. But I like the first episode so far. The OP and ED theme songs once again rocks.

You know the first season hasn't been fully fansubbed yet (five eps I think as of late), so it would be a miracle to see a fansub for this.

Well that's simple it's because they are targeting what the japanese Otaku want not what we want (most people here will not buy the region 2 DVDs anyway). Most anime only has a 0.08 to 1.2% viewer rating and amaenaideyo fell within that range as well as the first pressing of volume 3 sold out(that's the one with the collector's box for all the volumes). also the group subbing the first season announced that they will finish it then start on Katsu next which is alot better than fighting beuty woolong which no one has started to sub or even really talks about or Keroro Gunso which appears to be totally dead in the water.

So if most anime fall in that range why have most animes not second seasons?

Well i guess it's popular in japan for whatever reason

I've read on the Line homepage that they'll continue Amaenaideyo, as well as doing the followup "Katsu"

There is a fansub by Lime (5 episodes now), so it should be moved back to the fansub section.

This thread is for Amaenaideyo Katsu the second season of Amaenaideyo which there isn't any fansubs for. There's already a Amaenaideyo thread in the fansub forum.

It's a shame that there isn't much interest in the anime. Katsu is 10X better than the first season just with the addition of Kazuki.

How many times does this need to be stated....

This thread (Amaenaideyo/Katsu!) is about the second Amaenaideyo series, not the first series.

If you want to discuss the first series, post in the Amaenaideyo discussion thread found in the Fansub forum.

I think Amaenaideyo is more popular in Japan because of the fan service, unlike sophisticated Western anime 'puritans' that scorn such inane appeal. Also, Amaenaideyo is about Buddhism (a bit warped though with exorcism and such), so it's probably something more Japanese can relate to.

Amaenaideyo/Katsu is a continuation of the first season... but the second season seems darker with some new characters debuting in the first episode. Give it a try even if you puke at excessive fan service... go on... do not resist your supressed desires...

And Kazuki-chan is HOT for a Buddhist nun. Chitose's jealousy is funny too.

It's subbed now, so I guess this should be moved to the fansub section.
