Good episode but the animation really hurts. I can't give it a 10 with that crappy art
But man, Money speak louder than words Shiroe use it as the bait. The more exciting part is next episode. Darn, I hope it won't end in a cliffhanger.

Merchants... such a pain.
Always having their own agendas.. Crescent moon will need to draw a line soon. Since their business is booming, there will be plenty of interested in buying in. Luckily Henrietta is a smart one ^^ She really has talent for doing business. Guess it's not all about the business, there is something more going on. Looks like all preparations are going smoothly. Shiroe really is a genius. He planned everything from the shadows. Interesting how his plans are spot on. Nice intro into a new adventure.

Henrietta is an accountant in real life and she works for her father's office is I remember it right. So she has experience in dealing with businessman while Marielle is... well... laying around her house >_>

Seeing the characters adjust their glasses every episode gives me a slight sense of joy somehow. The show's doing a better job at spearing the awesomeness of being a glasses wearer than Meganebu! is.
From the looks of it I assume Minori is sort of like the Older Maid Sister of Log Horizon. |

Using the "Exact Words" tactic, and then letting the listener fill in the blanks with their own expectations is always a devious tactic, ESPECIALLY when said listeners' expectations are way off the mark. And they weren't even lying either... just not providing the complete picture.
Black-Hearted Shiroe, indeed! As for the production side... Yeah, this was obviously a budget-saving episode, but it's pretty much just a lot of people talking, so it's fine.

Btw for those interested, Issac's VA is Hino Satoshi, whose most famous role so far is probably Sakai Yuuji of SnS (he certainly don't sound one bit like Yuuji here )

Shiroe's name is only well known to veteran. Your not a veteran if you haven't heard black heart glasses or scheming four eyes.

This episode was great. I enjoyed seeing Shiroe's strategic planning at work, and the tactical choices made during that business deal. Amazing... It reminded me of what I had to do during my Peace Corps days in Morocco. Capacity Building is a serious skill to have.
Anyway I am wondering how Shiroe are going to rescue those kids. They've been dangling the carrot in front of us for two months now. |
