For some reasons I believe that chapter 299 has a high chance of being a gender bender chapter...
You ask why I think so? Well here are my reasons: Spoiler for Reason № 1:

Am I the only one who's fine with Jellal being a dork?
Mystogan was the cool & silent guy, who had his own significantly different motivation and backstory behind his character. Jellal doesn't need to be a carbon-copy of that. And given Jellal's character development and where he's made to be, he wasn't going to be "Exalted Charismatic & Courageous Rebel Leader 2.0" like he was in his youth either, he's got way too much emotional baggage to become as heroic as he was. I'm not saying Mashima's way of treating Jellal's character being perfect. He still feels somewhat like a plot device, and I get the sense that he's still not being properly integrated into the overall story of FT. But given that the 2nd most likely option was for Jellal to be a self-sacrificial dark loner atoner character, I'm glad that Jellal's finding some normalcy, fun and happiness in his life.

Nonsense, this was all part of his scheming plan to lay his hands on Erza's creampuffs.... Prison life has not been kind to him.
Jellal is completely in character with this roundabout method of doing stuff

I get the feeling it's the post-prison life that has been the most unkind to him in terms of urges & frustrations...
Given his 2 travelling companions, I'm fairly sure he's seen some stuff... see, no touch, iykwm. You know, the way you put it makes me imagine Urtear pulling a Momo (TLR) with Jellal...

They can both close their eyes and pretend the other is Erza/Gray I refuse to believe girls don't have urges! It's probably only a matter of time...

'Lucy' looks so...fabulous...? Without the headband, dead ringer for Hibiki. And Natsu n Gray look so damn cute, especially Gray.
*WARNING* Brain close to limit, please refrain from engaging imagination further!

Man-Erza will be too epically GAR and handsome for us to handle!
He will have to wear a helmet at all times to prevent turning all straight men gay and driving all the woman crazy in love

And yes I think Natsu also works as a female name so there is no need to change it, but it still more interesting to make it sound more girly.. How about Na-chan?
