Valkyria Chronicles 4 Gets September 25, 2018 Release Date And Launch Editions

Sega has revealed the North American and European release date for Valkyria Chronicles 4. People will be able to pick it up on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 25, 2018.

In addition, launch editions will be available in both regions alongside the premium edition.

Well the basic gist for most of the reviews on VC4 is that if you liked the first game, you'll like VC4 too.

I'm still debating even at this late hour ordering the special edition. The tank seems cool; not sure if I'd really do anything with it. I mean, you get two DLCs with it, but are the tank, art book, and 2 DLCs really worth an extra $40? Not 100% sure. If I get every DLC, it'll still end up being like $40 above the basic game cost.

On another note, I wish that they would release the list of recruitable characters. I can't seem to find a Wikia online with the Japanese version's info so I can see the character designs, names, and attributes of the recruitables. Not that that would make a difference with whether I'd buy the game, but I want to see who I should be on the lookout for.

im guessing you're playing on switch?

SEGA temporary pulled it due to bugs, but now it should be back up.

Just finished the game, and it was great.
VC5 needs to happen, but instead of tanks and on land, we need battleships!
Only thing i still don't like is, you still have to rush to get "A" ranks, or "S" rank in asian releases

As for switch version, there are occasional slowdowns, if the enemy calls up too many reinforcements, but it is still much better than the original on the PS3, performance wise.
