Buy the Zen Vision:M?
I'm thinking of finally getting an mp3 player, and one of my top candidates is the Zen Vision:M, which came out about a month ago.
It plays videos and music and images. But would it really be able to play the kind of videos that I download from Suki? I know codecs are always causing problems. And is the picture size big enough to satisfy? Any other important aspects of the player that I should know about? Thanks guys

I'm not sure if it will work 100% but you can always convert the ones that don't. I heard it's better than the Ipod screen quality wise.
Most anime is in 640x480 but the vision:M has a 320x240 screen meaning you're viewing 4 times less. The subtitles will be harder to read. If it's widescreen it will even be smaller. You can test what anime will look like on the vision:m, by playing anime on your PC with 50% zoom (with BSplayer) you will get an idea of how it will look. BTW that test will only work with 640x480 videos or 640x360 wide screen. |
