At least this stress test allowed a lot of people to get out and play the game this weekend. Seems like it went pretty well, didn't notice a lot of performance issues despite likely a lot of people being out and playing.

Yep, that video still is great no matter the language

Good points all round I think. Extra modes, and post launch monetisation (for characters and maps) are what I'm concerned about. But otherwise... I wish I could fucking play the damn game.

Also, the Japanese trailer is pretty good, those voices do indeed sound quite familiar. Tracers sort of almost sounds like you could swap the English and Japanese VAs around and you wouldn't know the difference, sound wise.

Well on the positive side they've stepped up to clarify on the big fears people had (post launch stuff).

So yeah, heroes and maps will be free. There will be no buying heroes after the game launches. They will patch those in and won't divide up the player base.

The money for this thing will come from the initial purchase and likely skins. That will take care of that. Smart move I think to avoid really pissing off the player base.

Not a bad plan for progression I think. Going the loot box route does keep the focus on just playing whatever hero is needed for the game you are in. Instead of just trying to level up your favorite and ignoring the rest.

Like the setup they have going for this game and the plan in place.

Well I'm definitely ok with that. Kind of figured it'd be somewhere in the June/July range and while it isn't that far off...it's still sooner. Will be a fun game to play on occasion with friends.

And it is indeed interesting. Bonus points for one of the soldiers accompanying Reaper having the common sense to simply drop his rifle rather than engage in a tug-of-war with Winston.
