If it's the latter, continue with the spoiler below. If not and if you seek romance only, ignore this post. Spoiler:
Can't seem to recommend anything else beyond that. Most of the stuff is already mentioned.

Ranma 1/2 is a good example because most of the girls are tomboyish. I've watched the entire series as well. Actually, I've watched all the anime I listed, and liked them. I was running out of ones like that to watch and running into anime like Full Moon. x_x It looks like most of the ones I'm looking for have been recommended. Which is good. I'm going to watch them soon. I've never seen Slayers. I can only remember seeing a trailer years ago. Romance isn't a must, but I prefer it. Though actually most of the anime I watch is more sc-fi/action. So, I might see about that. As long as the girl isn't intolerably girly I can go with any anime. Yeah, I'm weird. o.o |

I just like to wait until the entire series is subbed. Because I get too impatient when I get into the anime. xD |

One piece of advice: Adachi's works are quite addictive, okay? Be aware of this little fact.
I started very recently, by watching the very first episode of Cross Game (and getting hooked so friggin' completely as it ended), and now I've read the entirety of the translated chapters of its manga series (still ongoing), Rough, Katsu, Touch and I still want more. Just a heads up, tho.

Haha, I'll keep that in mind.
A few years ago I was like that with Yuu Watase's work. Imadoki!, Alice 19th, Fushigi Yuugi, and Ayashi No Ceres. I read all the manga and watch the anime. Gah, it's so easily to get addicted. I'd stay up for hours. It was late last night but I read the first chapter of Cross Game. Hard to tell, but promising for sure. How is the anime/manga of Touch? I've come across it a lot and thought about watching/reading, but never got around to it. |

Touch's one of the greats. Some people might be put-off by the art, but the story is just too good.
Personally, I'm torn about his shorter works, like Rough and Katsu. I can't decide which one I like the most - even while I tend towards the former. And, about Cross Game, make sure you finish, at least, the first volume. I promise you won't be in the least disappointed. Then, get back to me.

Also, if you're put off by the art, check the live-action movies of Touch and Rough (even if this one is a more contemporary work). They may not be as good as the mangas, but they're nice enough on their own. What's even nicer is that the same actress plays the female lead in both of the movies. She's cute, tho - and can act her way out of a sandbag, which is always a plus. Can this be a slight jab at Adachi's art style?
