@ Stratos - They don't "infect" one another. The virus is airborne and the entire academy was hit. All the females are susceptible while the males are immune. Unfortunately, none of the males know what's happening so basically all they see is females suddenly going cuckoo and trying to stab them/"own" them.

None of them have their gear or only have a small amount of it.

List:

Octans: No gear/no idea till treme gives a suggestion

Inami: Kendo Stick

Irish: Jammer knife

Kyuukai: Sonia gun

Maximillian: Hack tool

Ichika: Byaku Shiki at low power.

Basically each protag has unique specialties that to help them survive.

Actually, since me and some other's believe that Ichika is Chifuyu's clone that means that he has female genes. Ichika does go Yandere from time to time but the others snap him out of it. They can't afford him going Yandere since he's the only one in the group equipped with an IS.

Well, it could be that Ichika is practically just a carrier and is asymptomatic (doesn't show signs of yandere)

But he can't spread it elsewhere, since the Academy is locked down and every girl is already infected.

That makes more sense The six have to work together since their skills aren't that good on their own. That and the fact that they have to shut down the IS field all over school before all the Yandere's access the hangar bay and completely screw them over.

Besides.... Psycho-Ayara is the most terrifying thing ever.... (she took down a Karma Houdini without killing him or cutting off his limbs).

Unfortunately, she won't be around to help....

A side story which I called it:

Tick-Clock Project

It's mostly writing for fun. Reason for the name: it is about a character called Quartz who control a Drone called Clockwork.

OC of Tick-Clock Project:
For Stealing from other OC.... Karma strike Harbinger....

One of their Prototype Neuron-Link Drone got stolen.....

Quartz

Stolen Neuron-Link Drone, Clockwork turn the pilot into something like a Mecha-summoner. Since it is still in its prototype stage, any damage inflicted on the Drone will be feedback to the Controller as pain (Production Neuron-Link Drone pilot does not suffer from such feed-back).

How would you deconstruct a Gray Stu from IS?
Spec of teh above mentioned Gray Stu:

He is handsome
He jumped into action at the call (Quickly sign up for ISA when found capable of piloting IS).
He is decent in martial arts (Due to his wealthy background)
He can play musical instrument well (A trait that is common to such character...but for him, his family make him go for music lesson which is why he play so well)
He can pilot IS
Ace Pilot of IS
He came from a wealthy family and has some influence in politics.

Due to the naming theme of Tick-Clock Project:
He will be named after Precious Gemstone....like Quartz.

Ichika: Life is so unfair...
Quartz: You have no right to say that....
Icihka: Which is why I say life is so unfair, why others can complain while I can't?

Here's a list of attributes.

Kyuukai: Physically strongest in the group and has the only gun.

Ichika: Can fly for short amounts of time and overpower other IS pilots. Can call harem for help.

Octans: Can find alternative routes around pathways and traps. Can re-wire machinery.

Irish: Fastest and best sneaker. Can hack doorways and IS computers along with jamming machinery.

Inami: Most durable and can temporarily stun aggressors by using kendo stick.

Maximillian: Can keep in contact with everyone else and Hack computers like Irish.

Any edits/suggestions?

@ Treme - It doesn't have to be romantic love. Yandere's are built by their obsession. Maya and (probably) Chifuyu have no romantic feelings for Irish and Ichika respectively yet they're still infected.

@ Yachi - That's kind of hard since everyone on that list is smart at a specific thing. Irish's is IS core structure, Maximillian's is machinery in general while Octans are the IS frames. That's why they need one another. Whether they like it or not XD
