Boy does it feels goos to have Gintama back, and with an SPYAIR opening to boot, Sundays are awesome again!
LOL I was dying at the beginning of the episode with that Asaemon/Shachi nod, Gintoki was like "Nope, nothing happened here, move on" The opening also does give a clue where this cour will end too, I'm not ready

The OP made me cry like a little girl. Especially the part where Utsuro's past till Gintoki wave his hand in the air.
And I realize something in the OP too. But I don't want to know cause I haven't read the manga and I don't want to.

What struck me the most in this week's episode was Takasugi's speech, more specifically Koyasu's perfect performance. Really good stuff.
And next week, these girls we haven't seen in like 300 episodes show up again!

Nobunobu!!!!! RIP, the man sure did a lot of despicable things that he may've not atoned for even for the rest of his life, but he sure did well in ending the war the Liberation army
And Umibozu joins the fray, we pretty much have all of the main players here

NobuNobu couldn't keep his promise to Soyo, but his death wasn't in vain. He's come a really long way since the first time he appeared in the series. The man who used to see his people as mere tools meant to serve him died protecting them.
The second half had some good comedy. "Why did he have to remember a premise the viewers had forgotten ages ago?"
