I find it endlessly amusing that she uses a greeting common with close male friends. Almost expect her to refer to herself by "Ore" in the next sentence. Love it for the same reason I love Ayu's (Kanon 2006) "Boku". It's unexpected, and socially awkward.

5. She gets the most screentime devoted to character development. We just don't see that with Konata (until ep 23).

6. 『すげいかっこ。 いえ、でもかわいいけどね。』 (Sugei Kakko. Ie, demo kawaii kedo ne.) For the same reasons as point 4. Why? Why does she use traditionally male speech?

7. Misao + Kagami = Win.

I used to prefer Konata but as the series goes i find that i like Kagami more and more so my vote goes to her.

Since this was a "special" poll, I just wanted the protagonists having "special" (as in weird/clumsy) poses, and Konata mimicking Da Capo's Kotori was spot on. But that's all and I don't think it makes a difference when it comes to choose.

That said, I've obviously voted for Kagami-sama, my first pick since the very beginning

I was compelled to vote for Kagami for lurid reasons... but I have to say I probably *enjoyed* Tsukasa and her constant undercurrent of commentary along with her cellphone and seashell moments the most.

Kagami might like to be girly but its a "girly leather jacket" kind of girly Any guy who wants her is going to have to approach her from an equal partners direction.

Wow... Konata was suppose to be like the main character on this anime and well... She not in 1st place. BIG SURPRISE. But I still like Kagamin. I don't know why but her actions are always so damn cute >_> Tsukasa for MoeGar though Lol... Not sure about Gar but definitly Moe. Is tsukasa Gar enough lol?

For me it has to be Konata. All of the characters are great but they all centre around Konata, I mean to me Kagami would just seem kinda petty if it wasn't for the way Konata rides her all the time, which makes her pure class instead. Konata brings out the best in Kagami. Favourite Kagami-Konata scene is Kagami-sama!!!
