I'm pretty sure that this is going to be a great game, but I doubt it will achieve the praise it's prequel got, since it will lack the biggest strength of BioShock 1, which is the wow-effect of Rapture. Somehow I'm not that excited, although I really enjoyed the first game.

I played some hours . Wow that was amazing
IGN score - 91 / 100 "Oustanding" 9.5 Presentation A focused storyline, strong characters, clear moral choice mechanics, great story delivery, and a well-implemented overall cohesion of theme throughout the entire product. 9.0 Graphics Not as impressive as the first game, but the unmistakable art style prevails, making Rapture one of the visually dense and interesting settings around. 9.0 Sound The effects, music, and voice acting are all top notch and effectively reinforce the mood and feel of the world. 9.0 Gameplay A host of refinements and tweaks, from hacking to the way weapons and plasmids work, to enhance the flow of gameplay and keep you rooted in the action. A great experience from start to finish. 9.0 Lasting Appeal A top tier single-player mode that's entertaining the whole way through and a surprisingly fun multiplayer suite with plenty of unlocks and reasons to keep playing. Also : GamesRadar - 10/10 PSM3 - 93/100 GameRevolution - 91/100 Gamezone - 90/100 Gamespot - 85/100 1UP - 83/100 .... My thoughts , Bioshock 2 is dynamics as the first . The story is interesting . Actions is here . As usual the BGM is awesome . Power is balanced , you'll still have a hard time against a Big Daddy or others people . More plasmids power and effect . Great weapons and upgrade systems . If you want more challenge , play it on Difficult I just play 3 game in Multi . There are many game mod , take the adam or sister , take the territory etc ... The gameplay is very cool . Well , first i'll focus on the SP then go for MP . |

The new little ones are too darn cute, Vast improvements over the first versions a decade back. One definatly need to see how one of them brawk just waiting for you to pick her after you kill her Big Daddy. It's as what the develophers said in the artbook, they want to reduce the crreepniess and aim to make the Little Sisters more childlike in this game. All who call themselves Roricons definatly own it on their namesake to play this game. The Big Sisters isn't half bad. Their bodies have the shape judging on how their bottoms look with the armoring and all. I'll pay to see how one of them really looks beneath all the platings. |

having finished bioshock 2 yesterday, i came to a suprising conclusion about what the game feels like
this game, despite being perfectly fine and enjoyable on its own, doesn't really FEEL like a sequel it feels like the bioshock equivalent of a F.E.A.R expansion pack Spoiler for bioshock : extraction point:
as a whole, the game isn't BAD by any stretch in fact, its quite GOOD as FPS's nowadays go, but i just came out of it thinking "i hope they hurry up and release "bioshock: perseus mandate" faster this time around

Yeah , i still prefer Bioshock 1 . The second is great but not as the first .
If i remember well the first was longer than this one . Well , they add the multi for more game times . Bioshock 2 is easier too . I need the music in the Multi's menu and near the end of the game Spoiler for For people who already finish the game:

I'm quite enjoying it so far and its seems pretty solid so far although there isnt much new in terms of gameplay and you die suprisingly quick for an armoured hulk.
On a negative note my games froze twice so far and the second time cost me about 3 hours of play (where the hell are autosaves ?) which has put me right off playing it again.
