This is just a sloppy 5 minute job.. using messy and unstable fast-techniques like brushing with some basic colors to get rid of hard-spots.. but with a little care it can be made nice and clean and lotz bigger..

Yes, maybe by working a whole lot to it and using an undescribable amount of tricks and effects, probably I would have come to a decent result too.
But if a signature needs a lifespan - or alike - to be made, I'd rather make 200 avatars in that same time, ande eventually make more people happy. I don't spend more than an hour even for works I'm going to use ... dakara ^^

Yeah it would probably take 2 to 3 hours of trial end error to get it right.. ^^

I personally don't mind things like this.. as long as I don't get bored it can even take a frikin' week.. ^__^

But wow Pelly 200 avys/day.. impressive..
My personal record is only 106/day.. all of them from Ep1 of Mai Otome.. back then I got a hold of a dvd edition and couldn't help myself ripping it apart.. heh.. they were also my first so I didn't have really a perspective on things when it come to creating them..

Well now if I wanted I could probably easily smash that record..
But I doubt the chance will come up.. I'd had to be really bored and start making avy's out of every scene in an ep for no logical reason..
Because I kind of turn a blind eye to whale-requests, there's no other occasion to brake it.. Whale-requests as in the ones that go along the lines: "Episode X, requesting animated avatars for timeframes <insert a ton of timeframes here>"….. Why ignore them?!.. because one, it's inconsiderate towards other peoples requests.. two, let's say they get done.. someone comes in wanting an avy from the ep and sees it there.. of course he/she can ask for it but even I would find it awkward in some situations.. for example lets say Cyz was the one requesting them (it doesn't sound fair to me to break someones hopes for someone else's greed)....... oh and three, there's no point in having so many.. I mean lets face it there's no practical way to use them.. how would you use so many avys from the same ep!?.. and if they're not going to use them then what?! stick’em on a wall

BTW this has been bothering me for a while.. Cyz why do you need so many.. I like to think I change my set a lil' too often and even I only used around 4 sets until now.. (counting this one)
No wait.. actually more importantly why do you change your avy so often.. it almost feels like you don't like any of 'em.. or at least that how it looks from my POV .. is that it? or are you just one of those pesky picky people

I get frustrated to pour hours of time to do a sig to have it used for a couple of days. Not worth it.. Of course, its different when I'd used the sig myself ^^

i know what you mean LOL i hate working with mkv files to make gifs never works for me and i end up giving up XD
cyz could set up his own avie libary by now

This was an hell of a sequence (meaning it was really wonderful ^^), shame on that camera movement, I had to use a tweening to "hide" the jump from end to beginning ^^

I said that in the time I would need for such a work as that of the Ayu-Nayu animated sign I prefer to make 200 avatars.. BUT.. certainly the time required to me is NOT 2-3 hours .... most likely 20-30 if you prefere
My daily record... wakarimasen ... I don't think over 35-40 though, and they're alredy too much. Making gif has to be fun and not work ^^

Yes he collects them. Nothing wrong with the idea though, it's like collecting anything else, after all.
As for the number of avatars, you know, as Kanon gifmakers, I'm sure that when the Nayuki route's episodes will come, Theclow will make us both break our own records ... very likely we'll have to convert an episode from .avi to .gif and then upload it straight on torrent.

Haha. Of course there's nothing wrong with collecting them. And personally I don't mind if the person who requests the avie uses it or not, seeing as I just make these to kill time anyway .

Well, looking at all the sig works here kind of made me want to learn abit more. So I ended up reading more tuts and did hours of trial and error simply because I had nothing else better to do XD.

You guys like picking on me don't you? Meanies!!!! Lol! I take no offense though since what you guys said is truth anyway. As for why I request many? I only request many in terms of avatars -- can't do that in sigs (since sigs take forever to make than avies so I don't plan on tiring and frustrating the maker [and for the most part, that request was mostly ignored unlike the avies] -- so...yeah). Am I spoiled? Not too much I guess Oh! and I'm not picky either. The reason why I keep changing my avie is because I like all of them. It will be a shame not to be able to use them no? Also, this is not the only place I use those avies too (I also use them outside the boards -- with credits to the maker of course)
