Ishihara: “Japan Needs Its Own Mossad!”:
"In the wake of a new anti-spying law, top nationalist politician Shintaro Ishihara is calling for Japan to go a step further and emulate Israel by “creating our own Mossad” (or “Section 9″ as GitS fans have pointed out)." See: http://www.sankakucomplex.com/2013/1...ts-own-mossad/ I wonder if they'll be recruiting cyborgs? |

Fact is, in the last decade and a half the idol boom just brought out all types of idol groups and individuals, anywhere from traditional to the edgy (mostly indies) or the outre (such as the aforementioned Babymetal).

Otaku Culture Runs Deep With Anime Tattoos:
"Colorful anime images aren't just for cars anymore. Otaku tattoos are becoming more popular in Japan as of late, even prompting its own "Ota-Tattoo Night:Z" convention in Osaka for the hobby. Currently, the tattoos are most popular among young women in Japan. The tattoos are usually moe, bishojo, or bishonen characters." See: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/inte...-anime-tattoos |

However, I'd be skeptical if Sankakucomplex said that water was wet - do you have any better sources?

Same question to you. Read back your own post; do you really intend it to sound, excuse my mirth, as ridiculous as you intended it to be?
That remark is much a similar to what I have heard from military scholars who have a bigger rank than their knowledge base in.....certain operations. I apologise if I cannot elaborate; but I shall direct you to sift through the many documents found on wikileaks to get a bigger picture of what "data gathering" in what political/diplomatic/military is about.

Unlike the rock near Taiwan in dispute with China which actually is a key location for undersea resources, the one between Japan and Korean peninsula is pretty much just a rock. Quote:
However, due to concerns of Chinese purchases of Japanese lands, the law is starting to be discussed again. The law isn't usable in it original form as it was an imperial military law that could seize foreign owned Japanese lands, but since that governing body no longer exist..
