Detective analysis, gossip, lampshading, POG antagonist's that don't look like they are carbon copied robots the stonehenge POG was a nice start and last but not least the typical nosy reporter.

Then why don't you find a show that has all these things? It was obvious from episode 1 what sort of anime this would be, you're expecting it to be something it's not. (Btw the Stonehenge POG looked to me someone out of Yuugiou or Dragon Ball so yeah... She was fun, though.)

As for episode 16: a Gammon episode, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would...

Aww, Nonoha and Kaito were so cute together as kids

Ohh the start of the scene on the train made me laugh. As soon as I saw Kaito slouched up against the window looking frustrated, I just knew that the others had just tagged along with him

Man I love these characters

What a surprise! the people that raised Kaito were not his parents. And to top that of, they where in the POG, and they observed him like a lab rat. At the moment, I felt so bad for Kaito, as if I could feel what he was going through. He's had such a harsh life...and then that principal comes along to make it worse and say that he is also a POG member. Kaito entire life has been observed by POG members trying to use him for their own needs. Rook, you are one evil bastard for planning what you did.

At least the principal made up for what he did. He gave Kaito back the feeling of never being alone by showing that his parents really did love and care about him, and that it wasn't always about the puzzles. And it looks like Rook realised a thing or two as well...hopefully this will teach him some lessons.

Wait,did an episode of phi brain just manage to move me?That scene where Kaito's "parents" play with him really moved me.

I'm sure Rook will be befriended by the end of the season and join Kaito's ~~harem~~ group of friends in S2.

Looking forward to Elena next episode.

This was the best episode so far.
Finally, they spilled the info about Kaito's past and his connection to the puzzle world.
This was like his revenge to the puzzle for the death of his parents.

Yeah, shame on Kaito. For having a bracelet against his will.
He recently heard that his best friend is behind all of this shit that has happened and is creating deadly puzzles for his so called friends and him, he found out his parents weren't his real parents and died because of a puzzle and breaking his entire childhood, he needs to solve a shit load of deadly puzzles, has saved his so called friends from puzzles that he didn't want to do(if he hadn't they would be dead now), had to hear Gyamon talk about money all the time instead of actually making it and how he is better than him, has had a kid around him that wanted to do experiments with him and first wanted to stop him from doing any puzzles, has heard the rambling of a trap that does whatever the fuck she wants, etc.

Bad Kaito, for not being happy and thanking God for his lovely life.

I'm amazed that after all that's happened, Souji can still act like his calm self and play tricks on everyone

From behind, that fake Baron looked pretty good

It was nice to see Elena return, but I can't say the same for that lower class puzzle, magician looking guy

At least Elena took care of him in that game.

Never thought i'd say this, but I hate Ana for abandoning Kaito and Nonoha like that. Gammon was out and had no idea about what was happening so he's still on my like list, and Cubic seemed to be trying to help Kaito in his own way or something like that, so he's still on my like list...but he's getting pretty low on it. To be honest, even if Gammon did know and didn't go to help, I would still like him because he's awesome

But, it's starting to worry me now that they keep bringing up that he's more of a puzzle giver than a solver...I have a bad feeling that somethings going to happen with him and Kaito because of this

However, after watching Gammon, threaten Kaito like that and the way he talked to both Kaito and Nonoha...I don't know anymore. Please don't ruin an awesome character! Don't become POG Gammon!

He's got some guts to approach Rook with information about the Phi Brain Project which was suppose to remain hidden from people like him But those stares Rook gave him, they sent shivers down my spine. I found it pretty awesome that a supporting character like Souji would come face to face with someone as sinister and deadly as Rook to play a game of chess. Of course, Souji was offering something much more precious, his juice! I liked Gammons confidenceat the start of the puzzle...ah hell, I just love Gammons personality And Kaito's reaction to Gammon being in a puzzle at first was great :P Although, I do feel bad for Gammon. Even if Kaito saved him, I can't help but feel sorry for him. He wanted to solve the puzzle on his own but Kaito interfered, and then he gets mocked. I have a bad feeling about Kaito and Gammon falling out next episode. __________________

Sad, but nice that they chose to do the puzzle for him at that age and save him. He did a nice job of solving the puzzle himself. So now the POG has Jin and Kaido captured. Wonder what's next. Was so pissed at Rook this ep for doing that to Kaito. Glad he was mystified the Kaito's parents really loved him. Rook never received love so he doesn't even comprehend it. I suppose it was inevitable that the harem would break up - Kaito was way too obsessed with Rook and everyone got tired of being jealous! XD Seriously, though, as much as I like the harem, I like where things are going, too. Even if itw was a bit surprising: Cubic distancing himself from Kaito had been foreshadowed earlier, but Ana leaving them came a bit out of the blue. Gammon getting more and more pissed off was pretty much in-character for him, and given that he's always been Kaito's rival (in a way) it makes sense that he decided to join POG just to beat Kaito. I guess he will be the penultimate boss Kaito will have to beat... though it seems that Rook's final trump card will be Nonoha. FIGHT, NONOHA! GANBARE, NONOHA! But yeah, Kaito could do with a bit more appreciation for his friends. :/ Being gay for obsessed with Rook is one thing but these guys went through a lot for him and he hasn't even thanked them yet. (At least I don't remember, maybe he did it off-screen.) Anyway, it was great to see Elena again (she sure changed a lot!), and giving Gammon a sister was a nice idea, I wonder what's up with them living without their parents. And Nonoha was so cute in her demon dress. XD

Was a little surprised with Ana doing it as well, her painting lacked color for the first time. Gyamon has always been annoying and never liked Kaito so everything just compounded. Didn't think he would join the POG though. Did he just forget about his sister> If so he lost his emotions dealing with Kaito. Of course Nonoha will never leave Kaito's side, but now that Rook is onto her i'm a little worried. __________________ My Anime List
