ok here is some that i like and find calming. Jigoku Shoujo op#1, blood+ ED#1, Kanon OP, and Suzuka ED#2 anything similar or songs thats calming would be nice

I rather like Amethyst by Kotoko. I also like Deep Fantasy by Kotoko as well. Amethyst is a very quiet and calming guitar instumental, Deep Fantasy is quite mellow.

Binkan na Fuukei by Ceui. It was Sola ep 1's OP, and was also in episode 9. The full track was on the ED single. Very beautiful song, and definitely calming. ^^

Try out the OSTs of ARIA The ANIMATION/NATURAL and Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by Gonchichi and Choro Club. Nothing like 'em to lull you into comatose sleep.

"Free Bird" by Kou Otani and "Blue Flow" by Heart of Air both from Haibane Renmei. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Euforia from "Aria the Animation/Natural" is very calming. Pretty much all the music from Aria the Animation/Natural falls under this banner, including Athena's Canzones, as has been noted previously.

Also I'd like to put in a vote for the opening songs for both seasons of "Ah my Goddess"; Shiawase no Iro (2nd season) and Open Your Mind (1st season), though you may want to skip Shiawase no Iro if you hate bagpipes!

Next up is Sajou no Yume, the opening song from "The Third" or "Aoi Hitomi no Shoujo"

It's not anime, but the themesong for Balamb Garden, in Final Fantasy VIII is also very calming and relaxing to me.
