Yesterday I just read some manga and there is 2 that had main heroine didn't win trope.
1. from Gantz author "Me-Teru no Kimochi"

If you consider her step-mom as Main Heroine, then it fit the trope but if you don't than there is no main heroine, but it doesn't change the fact that MC end with someone else.

2. Ijousha no Ai

imagining that Yukiteru didn't became twisted and rejected Yuno Gasai, Yuno commit suicide and Yukiteru marry class rep and had a child with her. this manga is like that.

also, you really add webtoon? isn't many webtoon (especially korean webtoon that people call as pornhwa) had MC end with someone else with many NTR in the process?! or you didn't add that cause you deem that same as hentai?

even you who like gore and horror manga find Ijousha as disturbing as shit, I can't agree more than you. I just read Ijousha cause it had smut and yandere, but the first chapter is so disturbing and remind me of Nevada-tan case. so I just read first 3 chapter, reverse rape chapter, 5 years time skip and 3 last chapter just to know the ending. and if you think Yuno as Main Heroine, (maybe) you will think Midou as Main Heroine.

when webtoons flooding manga site some years ago with pornhwa made me rage non-stop, even NTR hentai is better than those crap. it is good that you didn't adding Pornhwa.

After re-read Prison School ending for some reason, maybe it should get a honorable mention because Hana could accomplish what most secondary heroine losers fail to do = self destruct the main pair ship in the last minutes

In Blue Dragon sequel, childhood friend main heroine left the MC to take care their wounded former enemy (who was in love with her) in the first season and refuse to join the party for their adventure against current threat because of that.

Of course everyone united again in the final battle by the way.

They managed to resolve the awkwardness of their relationship later as she told the MC to consider other people's feeling or something like that and she need more time before decided to goes into dangerous battle again, in which the MC agree and let her be with the other guy.

Sure it's open end but I think there is no implication about them will go back to their previously old relationship as she now seems more devoted to the other guy.

Meanwhile from the first season, the secondary girl which is an anime original character in the first place fell in love with the MC after he saved her and are very open about it to the point claiming how she wanted to be his wife in the future, all of this to create a necessary love triangle within the group.

After the first season ended and everyone go on separate ways, she stays with the MC to help the resistance group and they share somewhat platonic boyfriend-girlfriend relationship.... like I mean the MC may a little dense to let her antics to lovey-dovey with him as she wish, although sometimes he was irritated a little but he also never refuse her either. Imagine as if it was like Goku and Chi Chi situation except they're not yet married.... well this is Toriyama's world setting we're talking about, I guess the concept of dating is not that big deal in society unless you're legally married.

And this continue through the second season as she was the only main female character in the group and they both share lot of obvious ship tease and screen time together.

Talking about VN where both are the endings(one made it to the anime for obvious reasons). Both hold the MH title and only the player/observer knows this secret not the MC.
