No.....AIM negates magic because they are anathema to each other....Likewise Telesma also negates AIM effects.

Yes, but when a magician becomes an Esper, they can still use their AIM powers, but conversely not any of their magic powers, which suggests that AIM>magic or that AIM aggressively attacks magic energy.

The only time where Telesma was shown to be stronger then AIM was during Accels fight, but Hyouka was capable of fending off Gabriel, so it clearly isn't that weak in comparison.

No, esper can use magic but doing that will result as magic power(which is converted from a life force)in his body will clash against AIM and that's can make you severely injure or death.

So AIM=Magic power

Errm...no.....Tsuchimikado has an auto regen function so his case is a little different....

Normal mages cannot become Espers and vice versa....

This is all very true- so I wonder what's going on with Accelerator.

He was taught the Angels Song by Hyouka, so would it be considered magic or esper? He can deflect magic, but with great difficulty- is it because the AIM fields clash with the magic and they negate each other?

He's an Angel......most likely an AIM Angel. When he used magic to cure LO BTW, his body suffered as a result.

And from the way his wings turned from black to white, it looks more like a natural progression of his abilities rather than an actual switch of nature to a true Angel like Kazakiri.

So yes, he should be more accurately described as the next step in Esper evolution.

But Auto regen is the esper power that he obtained when he became an esper, but prior to that he was a magician. Unless I'm missing something. He esper power in any case doesn't seem to harm him. His Regen is more or less based upon lives in a video game, hence why he can't heal until he's past a limit.

And espers can possibly become magicians, since thats basically what happened with Ellie. However, she clearly could not preform any magic without harmful effects, same as Accelerator, where he was injured by his singing.

That's why esper personal reality and AIM is important and as for the magician are the medium and spell formula. Both work on the same way and probably the same principle but differ in source and application.

No... I mean, most humans are potential espers....they just need to undergo the treatment. Magic is drawn from outside dimensions where Angels and other supernatural things reside. Maybe that's why low level mages using esper powers are hurt less than espers using magic.

Complety agree, I mean people like Sougita are natural born espers, what academy city does is artificial made the conditions.

Now I dont think Accelerator is a complete telsma angel, the son was used first by index which means magic, also he got the info from the lamb skin (magic) and use his experience from Aiwass and Gabirel to make this posible, maybe he fuze both.

I did say that the espers power come from their messed up brain which undergo the treatment of curriculum of the academy city though it's different for the gemstones which can do it naturally.

The curriculum made it possible for the espers to wrap the reality with their own reality but that differs from one own ability to alter it or their level. And when your brain is been messed up by science that leads to you can't use magic anymore.

Magic was created so people can become those who are talented. Saints are talented, gemstones are talented and index can be considered a talented. For her ability to store the grimoire and didn't get poisoned by it because of her stature that can't use magic even though she can really use magic is talent or maybe the church messed her up to become like that.

Incorrect magic was created for people that wanted power but wasnt born with it, according to index even gemstones cant cast magic according to what index state.
