Nah, the main problem pretty much lies in the direction of the manga. With 1h30min runtime, you pretty much get a typical romantic comedy, where the viewer instantly knows that those who hate each other so much will still end up being together at the end. Waste of time and money.

It'll fail because for 1 hour and 15 minutes they'll show that the two of them are horrible for each other and the last 15 will say well they got together anyway. Kinda like the series itself

Why am I have the feeling that you are right about this? Also, I really doubt they can squeeze all girls into the movie. Most likely only Onodera will make appearance in this movie.

Because that's how Nisekoi was as a series. Sure they eventually got to Chitoge but for 90% of the series it was one of the worst pairings you could get

Even the end chapters is a ton of disappointment for most of the readers and i'm sure it will repeat it again unless they do the fans bidding for Raku x Onodera

actually it possible if the director willing to change some part, cut off the screentime of other girls and make it clear the winner from the start can turn it into a full drama. It might attract a lot of female fans

Call me salty about Nisekoi's ending, but I still believe Chitoge got some healthy editorial push from the background or something, because there is no freaking way that if Shueisha/WSJ has the chance to get a character costume added to Super Mario Maker, they go with some random romcom heroine from their roster, instead of so many popular choices. Like how? Why? Why was she always advertised as the poster girl of the series? It doesn't make sense to this extent. :S

Back to the movie, it's in their best interest to change the manga's ending, or go with the pilot chapter. That would be digestible in movie format.

He still need a green light from the author that is.. Otherwise, it will be put to bad ratings.

TBF, the lead lady is a half. I think blonde half-Japanese is almost impossible anyways, considering black hair is the dominant gene.

Now the bigger question to me is if Onodera is even gonna get casted. Hirose Suzu and Kiyohara Kaya are pretty much typcasted into manga adaptations as of right now (like our lead lady), but if they're doing a rehash of the oneshot, maybe we won't even get Onodera.

That would be the only reason for me to watch the movie No Onodera is always better

Onodera absence is impossible, her character is important to the main story. However likes Marika, and other Raku harem can be discarded though they are basically filler.
