Sport Animes

Hi, I was wondering if someone(s) could help me find some good sport animes.

This are some animes that I've seen:

Prince of Tennis - My favourite sportanime ever, it's just the best

Eyeshield 21 - Very good

Hungry Heart Wild Striker - Good, but disappointing so many times


And please dont suggest Slam Dunk xDxDxD

i was about to suggest slamdunk!
other ones:
hajime no ippo- great anime and manga on boxing.
captain tsubasa- on football- a classic anime (i.e. very old series).

In addition to what was already mentioned above, I suggest the following ones:
Major - baseball related
Whistle - football related
Ashita no Joe - boxing related
Capeta - racing related

There are also H2 and Touch. I haven't checked them yet so I don't know how good they are.

I highly recommend:

Hajime no Ippo (boxing, definitely HAVE to see this, one of the best...ever. even if you don't like boxing, you'll love this.)
Buzzer Beater (basketball)
Hikaru no Go (Go, kinda like chess. a lot more exciting than it may seem)

Why didn't you enjoy Slam Dunk? Comedic and somewhat of a relationship here and there.

Initial D, hands down.

But if you liked Prince of Tennis, I recommend Major (baseball). Not my cup of tea, but these two anime are remarkably similar.

I'll definetly download Major then. I got the hajjime no ippo movie, but I have not yet got a hold of the series.

I must suggest slam dunk.

And if you are really interested than touch is sorta what you are looking for. And Hajime no ippo, not sure about hikari no go, it starts slow but I think it picks up, not sure though only ordered like 3 dvds.

Suzuka isn't really so much about track/field as it is about romance/drama.

Don't watch it expecting to watch a sports anime, that's for sure.

princess nine is so underrated it really makes me cry. it is a must have classic, especially at such a great price.

Initial D, easily the best sports anime. It's a street racing anime.

I also liked Touch.
