I'm liking it, EXTREMELY LIKING IT!!!! I will also give the background animation a change. Its a different type from what I usually watch but it gives off a feeling of fitting to the story thus I would probably like it more. Nice bgm too. Gives a medieval feeling on it which fits with the story and setting.

I didn't expect ARMS... but as Kakkou said, art is pleasant. Most of the staff worked on Spice & Wolf so that's a good thing specially with this setting.

Female knight seems to be a lot older than I thought she would be. Most of the character designs are alright and the music was quite stirring.

Visuals are stunning in particular the scenery & background art. Hero's design is still the only one that irks me, i thought it might look better in motion but it still rubs me the wrong way. I think maybe its the head band, it doesn't accentuate his look in any positive way. Its too intrusive compared to "be mine hero, i refuse" and makes him look quite dorky. Once they join up he should rid himself of it anyway so that wont be a big deal.

He also looks a little young but again if they go with the drama cd cast or someone who voices him in a mature tone, then its something i'll get used to quite quickly. Loved the other character designs, especially the maids. Little sister looked adorable and Head looked like she was getting ready for some trolling.

Now just the long, arduous wait until this airs. I'm going with winter like others, spring the very latest.

ITT, people here forgot how beautiful the visuals from Hyakka Ryouran looked.

ARMS is a competent studio if given the proper budget and direction, nothing to worry about here

Considering how similar they are, I wouldn't be too surprised.

So far, I only like the Female Knight design this time. She still has that fierce look on her like in the manga. I just wish they could do the same to Demon Queen...

As long as they only pull out the fanservice when appropriate and not have the camera constantly trying to follow someone's crotch/breasts, then there shouldn't be much to worry about.

I like how the art turned out in the PV. I guess ARMS as the animation studio surprised me a little, but maybe this is their big break with a show that's not very ecchi.

Demon Queen looked very charming. (Yes, I was looking at her face.

) I was taken by her sweet look the way Hero was in the PV when she looked at him.
