Nah he is a Harem king, its a matter of time before he gets all of Rias female servants, present and future one. Not to mention that sooner or later he needs to get some harem servants from outside the circle.

Well yeah, volume 8 is a side story volume. This story takes place after volume 1 which is what ended last week in the anime.

It's been brought up before. If you want a guy to voice your magical devices, Fumihiko Tachiki looks like a good fit these days.

ep6: oh, a decent eppy of DxD? Thankfully, no lame action-scenes this week (which is a good thing, seeing how bad such scenes have been so far) and no Issei getting stabbed for the n-time (which is another good thing).

Oh, and next ep's preview looks good too. There might still be hope for this series, after all.

I agree, actually this was the best episode yet IMHO. I also didn't expect Rias to have such a girlish side, now I understand why Minato Fumi got interested in drawing her.

Just watched episode 6.

Everyone, remind me to schedule in an appointment with Rias to be my exercises instructor, I feel that her teachings of pressing herself against me whilst I do my exercises will give me plenty of enery and encouragement

Oh, and sit ups will just be great for when she's leaning down and holding my feet

I like how Issei's parents can just speak negatively about him in front of Asia and Rias like that

Aren't they suppose to speak highly of you so that they can encourage the girls to like you?

Rias seemed to be in deep thought a lot throughout this episode. She muttered the word "Bride" to herself as well, and with that conversation she had with Issei, I can only guess that it is her worrying about finding a partner or someone to love.

Also, Issei sure does seem to run into the weirdest people when he's meeting them for a contract XD I wonder if this is what all the Devils have to deal with

And of course, this episode wouldn't have been complete without another wondrous Rias shower scene. Will it ever grow old? Of course not!

Ahaha, poor Issei, he didn't get any breast touching time within those 5 seconds XD Now, if it were me on the otherhand...

I smell an arranged marriage. The scent is quite prevalent.

I still don't understand how an anime that is so shameless can at the same time be interesting for not-so-perverted reasons at the same time..

That's the benefits of a novel being the source material. No matter how erotic one may write it, you had to do more than just describe sexual acts if you are going to publish books.

Even genuine erotic literature, dedicating entire chapters to hardcore sex, still needed to have a story. Because without context of the characters, it just wouldn't be as arousing.

No, it's a Samurai: There are so many fiction-within-a-fictional magical girls that keeping track would be a Herculean task. I also like the idea that demons are turning into a sort of complaints box. (This opinion is only very slightly colored by games I have been playing recently.) If demon summoning is something that everybody does, there must be something going on in this world that I want to be more aware of. Both of the "customers" this week went against expectations in some pretty hilarious ways. The guy wanting to be like Milky Spiral 7 (is that a spinoff of Luna Luna 7) and the girl who decked herself out in enough Sengoku/Edo period gear to choke a museum. That her enemy was a traditional European knight (or rather, her... lover?) was insane in that way that people think Japanese TV is really good at doing. I didn't know two suits of armor hugging could be so romantic. Or clinky. Oh, and with Issei now living with Asia, it's looking more and more like she, not Rias, is the real main heroine of the show. At least until the finale dispels that notion for me.
