So.....is it Shana, or because Yui is the closest thing to a returning champion from 2009 because Taiga managed to be a one shot wonder and will never have to defend her title.
The vote tracker shows 772 for Shana and 941 968 for Yui, and from following this 2ch thread I see that the fake votes aren't letting up. I don't think I've ever seen it this bad in a prelim match.
the closest one to this I remember is Kagami-Tsukasa-Hina in 2008 prelims, and it didn't have this much fakes. If this is going to continue to be a trend, then we really have an epic Saimoe in our hands.

Reason: whoops, forgot 2008 didn't happen. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
To be honest, now that pretty much nobody is taking the vote counts seriously, the amount of fakes is pretty hilarious :3
As long as Nino progresses, I don't really mind it.
But hey, fake votes really shake up the competition. No one knows for sure the true standings, and then we'd all be wowed if Yui didn't end up first place. It's fun 8DD
The immense amount of fakes may not actually be bad for Yui since they hide whatever her lead is. (if she's leading at all) Not only that its like a "we are under attack!" signal to her fans that someone is gunning for her.
Hmmm, looking over the 2ch threads I can find was is likely a bunch of fakes...basically identical posts that only difference is the random code...and the five digit number going up by one each post. (trouble is...if I can spot them, I imagine the code tracker has too.)
There are also of course repeat posts (same everything including the same code) but I'd guess the tracker is smart enough to drop those.
Also is the five digit number suppose to be unique? Since I've found it repeated with different codes in front of them. With different votes under them.
The Yui spammer isn't all that creative (repeating posts and using low number codes, basically staying in the 00100-00199 range) but the Shana spammer is systematic (code change and increasing by one each time that is roughly the same as many codes coming in around the same time, from 00700-00900, then 00500-00700, then 00400-00500), but easy to spot.
EDIT:
Aside from the auxiliary thread (haven't checked there) 2ch has managed to fill up two threads this match and started another one...but never filled up the first thread that has the end of yesterday's match, results, and the start of today's match. So the match is spread between 4 threads in 2ch and the 1 aux thread.
Can someone post my vote for me please
