Or was that not the question? They can still throw things outside the window, as long as the door is not opened.

Next episode will animate the best two holders~ Best two holders~
Tomorrow! (Today?)
In less than 12 hours!
Maybe? Probably will take two episodes though.

Still, huh, there were 59 chapters in total?
Maybe there won't be time to animate the side-story volumes (like Paradox), after all. That would be unfortunate.
Let's take out some of the ending chapters and animate the side-stories instead.

I like what they did with this. Anyone who's read the manga knows that the next chapter would have an awesome place to end an episode at but would be too short for an entire episode on its own. When you watch this episode you'll see how they solved that problem and I like it, and it'll also make the story easier to follow for those who haven't read the manga.

I still am concerned that the animation budget is too small to properly handle some of the upcoming scenes, but Asread is doing a reasonable job, other than with the BGM.

im no critic but i personally think this is one of the best animated this season, at this point im really enjoying this sereis, its a thrill all the way, also the funniest scenes in an anime this season i have seen it here(i would love a gif of police smiling at yukki an yuki back then gun in the face), the fact that i know nothing about the story migth make things more interesting than for most of other people, but in my opinion best this season.

I haven't seen ep 3 yet.

About the animation, what is everyone feening about.

It's not great but it's hardly bad either, there are MUCH worse shows being produced out there. It's merely average.

The point was that those were all classrooms that had been blown up, but you see all those students still alive in that scene, throwing their textbooks out the blown-up windows (you can see the glass was destroyed in most of those classrooms from the explosions that should have killed everyone as Yuno ran by them).

I'm not taking the series all that seriously, so think of it as just a minor quibble.

C'mon - you expected to see something like that in Yuno's home, right?

The Yuno Crazy
Afraid of Obake Yashiki (haunted house) but not afraid of even fazed by killing people
Pile of dead bodies (skeletons?) in her home
Run as fast as you like - Yuno is always no more than 10 seconds behind (or even ahead of) you and never tires

The ending Yuno wants (and which is changed by opening the door) is "Yukkii marries Yuno (HAPPY END)"

You would think Diary owners would be more antagonistic toward each other.

I'm the one feening about the animation and I've usually been watching this show pretty early in the morning for me, sigh. It's a beautifully-illustrated show for sure -- screenshots look as good as anything else on-air -- but the few times the characters have been moving around they've looked kinda derpy (like running through the minefield last week).

Right now the show is mostly sitting still and talking or walking-and-talking, but there's eventually going to be some heavy-duty action, and outside of the OP the brief snippets of movement I've seen so far have me nervous.

That said, I have to say the direction is impressing me so far: I really get the sense the creative team gets what made the manga work, which goes a *long* way towards making this a quality adaption. In particular ep3 is just a great use of the source material.

Oh god, the eye pinching and the screaming. That's the first time I've cringed watching animated violence/gore in ... I don't even remember how long.

All the scenes involving Miniene (particularly the ones after she's abducted) in this episode were great. There are a lot of scenes here that I thought worked a lot better than they did in the manga.

Thanks a lot, Mirai Nikki. No sleep for me tonight.

I don't know if there's any reason beyond atmosphere that the apple changes from looking "delicious" to going rotten when he opens the door, but hell if it doesn't creep the ever loving crap out of me.

Ah Yukki... you just had to open that door didn't you. But it was the earlier scenes that got me.

Damn. Damn.

This hurts.

I expected the scary and the creepy, and eye scream and of course the delicious Yuno Yandere. But I didn't expect it to hurt like this.

A certain scene seems so sweet, but if you know the ending... They made it rewatchable, so that you'll feel different if you go back and watch these early episodes again after seeing the end.

Dang... it hurts. And they are doing it on purpose.

And she's just getting started.

Gotta feel a bit sorry for Yukkii though. One little slip and he sends the whole course of the future into the proverbial blender. Lol.

This was such a nice and happy ep. Yuno got her date with Yuki and according to her plan it was leading into a happy end. So background on the 9th was interesting. Lol the news user with the bag over his head, that eye scene was intense. So Yuki opened a door to find Yuno's dead parents? How does that impact everyone's future and the game. So that means he can't trust her now. That ending when chilling.
