It was fun to have a system reputation and more engaging. Why has it been disabled ?

Everything was explained in this thread. Considering how things have turned out after that decision, it was more problematic than anything, so good riddance.

I'm glad for its removal. I've heard horror stories where high reputation members spammed people for disagreeing with them, causing all of their subsequent posts to be regarded as unhelpful and ignored. With that threat removed, people can speak more freely and not worry about "authority" that reputation conveyed.

I do think they were good aspects with the reputation system. True they were a lot of problem but it was also nice to have good rep and overhaul it makes thing really lively back then
