It makes sense from a business stand point. I mean they want people to buy and play their game. Not just watch it online.

Yes yes, you can say that you'd buy it anyway, you could even be telling the truth, but that's not the point. I'm just saying I can see why they're doing this from a business point of view. Companies are for profit after all....

Or maybe streaming the game will also give it exposure and convince other people to buy the game as well...

I wonder how much value do they place in their own work if they think players will drop the game after seeing spoilers online. Are they telling us the game isn't worth playing if we've already seen it then?

Just finished Persona 5. A bit late.... well about four years late. I hope Kasumi makes it to Scramble.

I very much doubt she will, if she was in they would have shown her. I mean, they outright spoiled who the new members would be, why would they hide her?

At best she'll be a DLC character with no actual role in the story.

As if the only way to hear about the game is through streaming. Chances are low you would find the game on a streaming site unless you were actively looking for it. There's plenty of other places and ways to hear about it. By the point you've watched 30 mins of the game you're actively looking for spoilers at that point.

The whole point of watching a stream of a game is so you can see the game without buying it yourself. There's plenty of trailers, previews, and sometimes demos you can get to take a look at the game.

I think she and Akechi are likely to be DLC (because, c'mon, it's got to have some). I think there's a Royal event coming up soon so they might announce it there.

You have it backwards. People don't necessarily watch streams because it has a game they like, but because the streamer is a personality they had been following for a long time.

You're still missing the point. I said it straight out in my first post, I could see why the makers do it from a business stand point. I'm not saying they're right. I'm not saying they're wrong. I'm simply saying I can see their point of view. Whether you agree with their point of view or not is irrelevant. Heck. I can see your point of view.

Am i the only one feel P5 Scramble feel so soulless without Akechi and Kasumi inside?

After Kasumi introduction i feel any girls in P5 are underwhelming in her comparison, none of them has glorious radiance like Kasumi has.

Game selling strong.

Last I heard in Japan, 162K copies for the PS4 and Switch in Japan.

No sales numbers in South Korea/Taiwan, but GNN Gamer disclosed that they were number 1 in the top 5 games charts.

A 96 in Metacritic, holy cow! I like the changes to the visuals among aspects from the gameplay. Still, I wonder how exactly is the narrative's impact in the main story. I mean, 4 Golden established that Marie exists but has an extra role due to her true nature which is mentioned again in Arena Ultimax. Wonder if Akechi and Kasumi will have a more established role in future titles like Marie.

They're not in Scramble (and Scramble has it's own original characters) but there have been plenty of rumors of a P5 Arena game, so I would expect it's likely they'll pop back up in that if it ever happens.

Of course they're not in Scramble. Marie wasn't mentioned in the original P4U (around the same time as P4G) but was a playable character in P4U2.

That's what happens when Japanese developers work on 2 games in the same series at the same time, the teams don't communicate so they have to reconcile their canon later.

Heard more restrictions for Royal for players after December 24 (at least in the game).

Game's already out worldwide.

Ok that was pretty funny. I just disagree on the "progressively lamer" bit about the dungeons. The first couple are actually quite weak in my book compared to the later ones.

The only palaces I can't say I enjoyed were the 2nd and 3rd last ones; the former due to overuse of mousemate, the latter due to that part with presses and timers. Every other palace has been quite the experience, and I really enjoyed the very last one.
