Can you change classes, or are the different versions considered different characters? I seem to recall at one point it being said you could have an entire team of Sabers, but I'm not sure if they meant various Arturias or like, Arturia, Nero, Mordred, etc.

You can't change your servant's class but you can play same HS with different canon form like:

FSN Lancer - Original, Extra, Prototype and Caster.

Vlad - Extra and Apocrypha.

Extra Assassin - Old man Lancer version from Extra Material book.

Karna - Extra CCC, Rider Karna from Fate Material and Apocrypha.

and etc..

Yes, there was mentioned from article that you can have an entire of Sabers in your party.

I'd have thought that Archer would've been a more obvious choice, since he's known for using a bow, but I guess mounted/chariot combat is an iconic aspect of the Mahabharata in general.

dammit this pic reminds me that Shielder was a part of stay night and the anime version to dammit i rely hope the next anime series if thay do make one i hope its ether from the games,books and if thay have to do stay night at lest let it be a scraped route. sorry about my whining back to game info aparintly Artoria will be in default state (pre 4th HGW).

Brynhildr is a Divine Spirit/god vary hard to summon generally your not suppose to be able to summon Divine Spirits/gods but thare have been bending to the rules for example tamanomae/Amaterasu,madusa and Bodhisattva. but without a good theroy it won't take so ferther speculate please.

i don't know whut to make of the whole ajax theroy but whut i have seen of fsn's Rho Aias its more of a force field then an effect from a Shield notice when EMIYA summons Rho Aias no phsical shield appears only the force field.

woops my bad according to Fate/complete material IV Brynhildr/Brünnhilde is the queen of Iceland and not the valkyrie norse version that i immediately think of.

actually what appears is a large flower representing the one that sprouted from Telamon's blood. Hence why you see on archers character sheet it also being called the 7 petals that cover the fiery heavens ( the wiki says rings but i could have sworn the vn said petals.) This is also describing the fact that the shield was made of 7 layers of ox hide. so while more conceptual it's still very much a shield.
Also in regards to the ajax theory being that it has a cross and is very much a metal shield i would highly doubt that she is him as I said earlier it would most likely be a late period roman ie after Constantine and the conversion of the empire to christiantity or a european christian knight

if it's of roman origin i can only imagine any ability it has will stem from roman shield tactics
key thing is seeing the front of it as any emblem on it will give the best clue as to who she is

The servant EMIYA got his Rho Aias during the Grail War in his lifetime? She's also veery similar to the stray servant that was scrapped as a heroine from the early stages of F/SN.
