Mika's call to Barbatos for more power was an unexpected shounen power-up, though not as bad as his sudden mastery of the katana mid-fight.
![]() Kudelia's established a position to address the changes she wants to bring about but McGillis and McMurdo's shift in power will just escalate the situation in the future. So things will get ugly quickly again.

McGillis took his transformation to the next stage in this episode.
That Henri lady was wearing a wig throughout the show. ![]() The fight was once again great, Mika's sudden outburst to Barbatos for power was kinda nice and he paid an appropriate price for it. Ein took his Lt. Crank fanboying syndrome to the ultimate stage and meet his end. Makanai wins, Gjallahorn loses influence. McGillis starts to take power. I'm kinda pitying Almiria at this point. Epilogue Kudelia stays at Earth and Tekkadan leaves. And we get a season 2. ![]() |

I felt that Barbatos responded to Mika's call giving him sword skills. I'm leaning on Gundams havin a sort of learning computer.
Damn Gaelio yes I wouldn't trust McGillis too with my little sister. Besides betraying his best friend and the girl who loved him from the very beginning he is also a lolicon. I have a feeling there is a writers backdoor for Gaelio to come back. Politics wise Abrau's colony on Mars would give independence and the other power blocs would likely follow suit as the African Union and Oceania Federation already gave some autonomy to their colony cities. Only SAU aka the Americas hasn't given any sort of autonomy in the early episode screen info dump but they'd likely follow. Economies are shifting gears to create their own militaries not trusting Gjallarhorn. Gjallarhorn would lose power but not enough that they would be gone. There is still a possibility of war between the power blocs and everybody else against Gjallarhorn or a Gjallarhorn civil war. One thing is for sure Tekkadan won't trust McGillis likely as both Orga and Mika realized he was playing both sides. Atra is still pushing for a OT3. Having her a Kudelia comfort Mika who lost his right hand's function. When Kudelia said they are family I'm sure Atra is thinking a threesome making babies. Well both Azee and Lafter both came out alive. Naze is gonna be busy with his girls. Azee is bit reserved on PDA. The guys are passing the hot potato who will tell the twins their brother died. I have a feeling a season 2 will have a timeskip so they and Almira would grow up. McMurdo and Nobliss come out winners here with potential profits and the decline of Gjallarhorn's power. Tekkadan already proving its worth to Teiwaz with being Abrau's military advisors. |

For a first mission, Tekkadan are really elaborate about their choices, the gambles the make, the prices they pay.
Haven't had this much satisfaction in a series since Gundam 00. Plot might have been slightly choppy but somehow managed to remain coherent. Even with the odd mix of humor and tragedy they have been sprinkling throughout the series. Mika still remains classic, ignoring just about every banter from Ein and making his own gamble to fulfill Orga's request. Onto McGillis. That guy remained true to his ideals (twisted as it may be) without letting feelings get to him. I'd say this guy just gave up his own humanity but it'll be too early to say so. I'm still much too curious about his "Lived with anger." part. Spoiler for Kimaris:
Tekkadan guys played their parts out well. Same goes for Kudelia, not wasting her chance and speaking over the purple-haired lady that I forgot the name. She has that once chance and is not about to let some random person's words get in her way. Again, for a first season, things were pretty elaborate. I'm quite satisfied overall. However, it goes without saying that I feel very bad for Gaelio. Very very bad.

Magillis really a very interesting Gundam anti-hero / villain character in a long while
He calculated and planed all this cold bloodily but it for his great(?) ideal and he didn't lie to his "only friend" till the end.... may your rest in peace Garma 2.0 Ein bring a "Naive self-righteous prick" to the new height really deserve a katana in the face glad that he got put in hell for good this time Tekkadan will most likely continue to grow and become even more famous by turning into "The Protector of the Maiden of revolution" with more funding and maybe more personal joining them It interesting to see their direction from now on with the "will to survive" greater than other Mika loss half of his eye and arm to become part of the Barbatos system.. huh? I wonder will he loss even more part in the future I hope he and Olga will find his true destination in the end Kudelia will most likely bring busy from now on too with her path bring open.. and more people noticed her role in this conflict The Ending was really satisfying cannot wait for season2 I hope for a good time skip with many people joining in and continue the legacy those who fallen left behind salute to all the living that sacrifice ( exclude Ein ) |

Mika calling out to Barbatos for more power was sort of Shounen-ish, but the fight was intense so I'll let that one slide.
Lafter, Azee and Shino all made it out alive. I was really hoping that none of them died last episode, so that's great news for me. I feel bad for Gaelio. Extremely bad for him. He really let out all his grief during that fight and was tragically killed by the guy who he considered his best friend. McGillis effectively severed all his bonds to accomplish his goals. Even his fiance is nothing but a tool to him ,despite what he says. Looks like Atra is still holding onto that vision for an OT3. Apparently the best way to console Mika is to groom him like a dog. McMurdo and Nobliss got what they wanted. Gjallarhorn's loss of power just means more for them in the long run. I don't have high hopes that they'll be much different than them though. Can't wait for season 2.
