I'll be honest and admit that there was more progress than I thought, but considering that I was expecting a ten chapter long date ending with Mizuhara pushing Kazuya to give Ruka another chance, the bar was set very low to begin with.
The story is still terrible though. Mizuhara isn't held accountable for anything, she won't quit being a rental and after more than 200 chapter needs time to understand her feelings (which clearly is the author telling us the manga isn't going to end anytime soon). She's clearly not worth the effort but of course Kazuya is ecstatic at the mere thought she might reciprocate him.

What is there to understand when she got jealous or rather gets jealous whenever Kazuya is supposedly involved with other girls? Sleep depravity, eating disorder just at the thought of Kazuya developing feelings for someone else or getting intimate with someone else. This girl is hopeless. She is irredeemable. I don't know....in their defense, that nude image of Chizuru looked pretty weird.

Like obviously breasts sag....but since when has manga paid attention to the laws of physics? I thought manga (especially harem ones that bank on the popularity of the girls) want to make things like nude female bodies look appealing as possible?

But I thought she looked ridiculous...or maybe it's just because they are so freaking big.

Anyway....Kazuya irritated me a lot in particular this chapter. Dunno why...he just did.

The stupid faces he keeps making used to be entertaining but I'm well past that now.

Actually this comment from MAL sums up my feelings about Kazuya very well:

It's a bit...sleazy. Just my opinion.

Maybe I'm just too used to harem leads who have more chaste thoughts. But I really do think Kazuya thinks about sex with her too much. I get he loves her and sex is a natural part of that love.
But it'd be nicer to see him think about her wearing a wedding gown or holding their future child....or even just greeting him coming home from work if they started living together.

Those fantasies are more wholesome and would convey he's ready for commitment which I think shows what real love is about much better.

I never hated a main heroine as much I hate Chizuru. Why don't the author marry his creation for real instead of forcing her down on the readers? What's the name of the ex, the ribbon girl and the shy girl again? I forgot.
