Can anyone tell what year this story is in? I'm not buying the fact that whenever we see dates, we don't see a year. That's absolutely ridiculous... Every announcement, even AC internal important announcements have no date. That would be a horrible disaster in the future if they couldn't know the exact dates

Not always true. I've had it be better sometimes. That only happens when its so good that you can't get the maximum enjoyment the first time because you don't notice everything then.
In this case: Stream was fine. Raw was better because I can pause and re-watch. Subtitles were even better because I understood what was going on and the 4th time watch rewatching subtitles was like: I notice all of these things in my hour long post
@Haak you're probably right about the music though in terms of the endings' placement. However, it's really been growing on me slowly
(pun intended).
But, I'm not so sure it would be good at the very end either. The PV afterall was a harsh shift from both the ending and the scene with Mikoto. I don't think that rising action would have fit in either. They also already did a special ending the previous episode. I think it was fine having that ending. After having scene all of the characters throughout the season finally animated, the opening is really growing on me because (I like the animated versions of the characters more). Both songs feel like they're improving
I wonder if it's a conspiracy... Maybe not
But that's how it feels.
I'm not sure they could have done something else.
