True, but between what we've seen of Edea and Aria so far, it still should be vastly in Area's favor. Then again, if off didn't get retconned now it wouldn't make much sense for her to be able to fight Tasha post training at all.

It makes sense though. Aegis is just her supporter just think of thw witch who had her butler as supporter and once she jumped in the fight the tide totally tipped to her favor. The only thing i can imagine here is that Tasha jumps into the fight throwing Aria off-balance (like jumping in the line of fire to protect his master)

Yeah after the last clash with Edea Aria had (I think) only two of her Aegis left. And during the first chapters Tasha with the help of Tarras and Xing was able to beat her down though only Tasha was left standing. Later on a full powered Halloween was able to give Aria a beating too though that was more likely due to her taunting of Aria and her sudden power spike due to Tasha's 'awakening'.
What i am wondering about is this: did the curse which Aria placed on Tasha break? In the flashback it is mentioned that Edea was able to stop it not break it. but when Tasha ised the song of fate Aria noticed that the curse seemed to be broken. Is the translation at this point correct?

And like Tasha Edea just might loose it after using the song of Moirae. At least it matches Tasha's memoriy from the start of the manga that Edea destroyed most of the Aegis. Which makes me wonder what is Aria's true power?

Well that was somewhat expected, Edea's unrestrained emotions run wild. And here Tasha will probably jump between them and this might give Aria the chance to kill Edea. BTW was it ever mentioned if all witches have this emotional control Edea was using? Or is that more limited to 'good' witches?

Most, if not all Witches, use emotion control magic to some extent because mana naturally influences the mind and their emotions. Tasha went nuts when he first transformed, and South is outright insane because she has so much mana that she can't contain it and she doesn't even know how to use spells.
But the way that Edea uses it allows her to not let her emotions cloud her judgement, while Aria uses it because its the only way she can deal with her guilt. Remember, she was on the verge of a breakdown both times she didn't have the spell, the first being when she didn't have enough mana to maintain the spell in the earlier chapters and Tasha got the beating of a lifetime from Varete. The second was when she realized her father was dead and Varete cast it on her so she could hold a conversation. Access to mana + wild emotions = very bad things for the untrained.

While it is suprising how Edea sems to have been killed this cannot be the end. I mean right now it looks like as if Tasha is going to be taken and that does not happen. My best guess would be that Edea gets up and in one last push sends Aria and Varete packing.

No, she dies by Aria's hands. Tasha mentioned that early in the manwha. This just elaborates the details of how it happened, namely that she chose a poor time to lower her guard and had to heal him because she lost control of herself and that meant she couldn't heal herself. Tasha would neglect to mention that though, given he was obviously smitten with her and didn't hold a grudge.
