Clannad TV (general discussion)

I'm kinda lost here... so, Clannad is going to have 22 episodes, is this official information? Also, After Story is just speculation?

After story is speculation but..it just wouldnt make sense to skip it since the OVA the are realeasing after episode 22 in July is about the summer which is like the start of after story.

He didn't. We don't know the subject of the OVA. However, an omake called "The Events of Summer" will be released the week after episode 22.

Whether it's 22 or 24 episodes, I highly doubt we'll get to the After Story at the current pace. A shame, since I really wanted to see the threads explode with 'ZOMG D:' reactions

It's a really well done romantic drama by the same people who animated Haruhi Suzumiya.

In other words, yes: "Clannad TV" is just another way of referring to the "Clannad TV Anime Series", to distinguish it from "Clannad the Movie".

Oh, because Ive watched it (Waiting for episode 20), I just didnt know why it would be named Clannad TV, thanks for clering that up

Will be centered on Nagisa? I know Nagisa will probably be the center of the next 1-2 episodes, but I hope Tomoya gets with someone else...

There's no "probably" about it. It is happening.

It was announced at the foot of the special ep which aired earlier that After Story is in production. We'll hear a lot more by this weekend; one of my sources is going to the Tokyo Anime Fair this Saturday and thus will have a lot more information before too long.

The second Extra episode (episode 24) given in DVD8 will focus on Tomoyo (智代編 - Tomoyo-hen: Tomoyo's chapter/compilation).
According to the "description", since Tomoyo's route was quite popular, they produced a parallele story based on it.

I hardly believe they will squeeze her route within 1 episode, so they just might do a "a daily scheldule of a studen council president" or some unfold points of her past and presents (beating up, Takafumi, etc).
