It is now the 9th in Japan and around 14 more days until vol 5 comes out. Who is willing to bet that they will postpone the release for whatever reason? One reason I can think of is that they don't want the release date for vol 5 and 6 to be too far apart. I'm saying this because no matter how you look at it, there is no way vol 6 will be out by next month, unless they have been secretly working on it and we don't know about it.

At this point, I've pretty much given up on ep 14 + 15 ever being aired/webcasted. However, it is positive that it will come out on DVD/Blu-ray and fansubbers are going to make rips (with subs) out of that so I will wait till then.

I guess it doesn't really matter for us in the west since we are just going to download it anyways. If the Blu-ray and stream version come out at the same time, it would just be either watch it on the website and crash their server by traffic or watch it in file form.

The date of release is still slated as March 24th. edit: oops...already posted in another thread. That's what I get for subscribing to only a few threads...

The almost absolute fidelity to the original art that Senjougahara figure shows is worth of respect. The 'falling' effect is very well represented, by using the shapes of the objects as joints, with nothing artificial at all. Incredible.
And at last I have the chance to have a figure of Hachikuji... even if it's just a Petit. I hope some actually big and detailed fig of her is released. Considering how profitable Bakemonogatari is, I have my hopes high. We can expect huge sales! In fact, I'm still wondering why these figures weren't released, like, months ago. About art books, how many of them are out already? Are they sold separately or come as DVD/Blu-Ray extras? |
