If this side story has good sales, the trilogy of main story will be animated. This one is a frontier.

Oh great this starts today. I reiterate my humble hopes that this show be a little more focused and dramatic (not melodramatic) in it's early run than some of the mecha fare we've been getting of late and that Satelight have as little control influence over the storyboard as humanly possible. Also crossing my fingers on this show not wasting epic amounts of time early on. Have reasonably high hopes for this one that I hope aren't crushed in a few months.

There's just so many ways that I can see this going right or wrong by me that I think there's nothing left to do but dive in.

I liked the first episode. It was a good setup a reminiscent of Gun Parade March.

and it seems the next episode will be bloody.

With the staff that they have for MLA: TE, I can't help but feel happy that the main trilogy was spared. Just my two cents.

I don't think ML is gonna ever have an anime adaptation of the main series, way too much things too cramp in 24 episodes and a 51 series isn't a viable option these days.

I haven't watched the first episode (and I'm not sure if I should anymore), but I hear it has a BETA battle where some TSFs start flying around for no reason and get shot down by laser class BETA.

That's some genius anime-original writing right there.

Kriska isn`t the worst matter. We can see it as more familiar form of real Крыся - familiar variant of Кристина-Kristina, form that isn`t rare in Belorussia.

But Fikatsia Latrova, that will appeal later is terrible - that isn`t human name. More resemble some letal disease.

I think you were talking about the two damaged TSFs trying to RTB when they were shoot down?

Thats because the front line was annihilated, and they were trying to fall back to base. Its obvious they panicked and forgot to keep low enough to avoid laser class fire.

You should wait for the subs before judging whats good and whats not.
